23:10 jeremy "even when I tried to kick potter down". When did that happen. Tables got more points then detailed ships. I sensed this through the force from the beginning. The dark side has clouded your vision. Anyway I wish you and all your family a merry Christmas and thank you for all your hard work.
It's all personal taste and Jeremy decides. Having said that, he frequently put HP low, otherwise they would have won bigger. Flitwick was an original mini figure but didn't win his day - how does that fit with your bias theory?
Thank you Jeremy for making December fun. My 10yr old daughter is not happy with the lego friends placing, I on the other hand am over the moon being a Harry Potter fan, I'm sad it's over. Happy Christmas.
I’m so sad about James Earl Jones and Maggie Smith. It was a hard way to start Christmas Eve. I miss them both. I am also so sad this is the end of advent calendar. Yay Harry Potter won! I am so happy about that. I actually was emotional about the end score. :) All the best and I am so looking forward to your next review. I hope you do owlery next. And right away. Most of all I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. 😊 🎉🌲
23:10 “Even when I tried to kick Potter down” - oh, Jeremy, you’re so funny 😂 But in all seriousness, thanks for all the work you put in. Even with your HP bias, I enjoy the videos very much and they’ve become part of my December routine. And I am glad City (still my favourite this year - I mean, come on, those sweaters!) was redeemed in the end with a shared 2nd/3rd place. In the end I generally agree with your assessment, although I feel a bit bad for Friends, because it comes together really nicely in the end! Happy holidays and all the best for 2025!
this is an amazing series. On December 1st, youtube recommended it to me. Ive been tuning in every day since. Ive now subscribed to you and will be watching your videos throughout the rest of the year. Merry Christmas!
First time Lego Advent Calendar for me. Really enjoyed building the toys alongside you Jeremy. Also, very happy with my City Calendar - selected in my local Toy Shop (buy local!) as it was cheaper than the franchise ones.
The Star Wars calendar suffered from the same problem that their sets have of not have enough mini figures (and not having a entire for most of the bonus points) also Disney got robbed for best multiply day gift.
Thank you for making these wonderful, cheerful, and incredible videos to watch throughout December! What a blast up until the very end, and what twists all the way through. Merry Christmas to everyone, happy holidays, and good entries onto next year 🎄
Thanks so much Jeremy. Every year we love watching you throughout Advent and this year you were even more important as a close relative, who was great at bringing the festive cheer, died suddenly in early December. Thanks for bringing us regular cheery tradition and giving us a daily laugh. I'm very sure we're not the only ones finding this time of year hard who are extra grateful to you (even if you're completely wrong about Harry Potter)
I get what LEGO was trying to do with each build representing a year of Star Wars, but getting a ship on day 24 is just unfortunate for anyone on Christmas Eve. If they had a set amount of minifigures, it would have been nice to get Luke on Christmas Eve instead. Either way, it’s been another good run Jeremy! Thanks again for continuing the yearly tradition, and congrats to the well deserved winner this year, Harry Potter!
Yes Harry Potter won! Another great Advent Calendar Door Opening Spectacular! Thanks Jeremy! Always fun to end my days by watching your videos each December! Looking forward to next year's Advent Calendars!
Thank you Jeremy for the great traditional series with well deserved winner 🤓 and I’m looking forward to the next year. Happy holidays to all of you! 🎄
So here it is, Merry Christmas! These last 24 days have absolutely flown by! 6 points - Harry Potter. Superb minifigure, an exclusive minifigure on Christmas Eve is a great way to round off the calendar. 5 points - City. Maybe too predictable by now, but it's a classic that you simply can't go wrong with. 4 points - Marvel. Probably the best Christmas Tree we've had in years from an advent calendar, superb creativity, and a nice farewell to the Marvel calendars. 3 points - Friends. Lovely festive touch for the final day, just a shame it came up against such stiff competition today. 2 points - Disney. Without a doubt the best bit of the castle, but even on a normal day this would have struggled to come much higher. 1 point - Star Wars. Generic ship. Such an anti-climax! Festive Bonus Point - City. I mean, I would like some gifts under the tree, pretty please!! Scores - City 109, Harry Potter 90, Star Wars 90, Disney 82, Marvel 80, Friends 79. But that is not all! Oh, no! That is not all! Minifigure of the year - Star Wars 6, Harry Potter 5, Friends 4, City 3, Disney 2, Marvel 1. Tree of the year - Marvel 6, Harry Potter 5, City 4, Disney 3, Friends 2, Star Wars 1. Snowman of the year - Marvel 6, Friends 5, City 4, Disney 3, Harry Potter 2, Star Wars 1. Worst Gift of the year - Marvel 6, Friends 5, Disney 4, City 3, Star Wars 2, Harry Potter 1. Multi-day gift of the year - Marvel 6, Harry Potter 5, Disney 4, City 3, Friends 2, Star Wars 1. Completed calendar of the year - Harry Potter 6*, Friends 5, Disney 4, City 3, Marvel 2, Star Wars 1. *I just wanted to shout out the fact that the finished Harry Potter calendar is compatible with 76435 The Great Hall, which I think is a superb way of giving these gifts a use after Christmas is all over and done with. FINAL SCORES - City 129, Harry Potter 114, Marvel 107, Friends, Star Wars and Disney ALL have 102! Did not see Marvel getting in the podium places at all! Harry Potter gave City a run for its money, but City held on to take the win for me! As for the rest, kind of fitting that they've all tied for the doom and gloom of last place! Many, many thanks for putting these videos out again this year, Jeremy. Superb entertainment as always!
Big thanks for all your effort once again Jeremy, this is my fourth year of your advent calendar spectacular and it never disappoints. Unlike the Lego Star Wars gift today. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I watched your 2019calendar opening yesterday and will watch year 2020 today. This has been entertaining and enjoyable. Shows you can't assume a certain theme will be good from year to year. I would have thought every calendars day 24 would have a more traditional in your face Christmas item to end it all, but you showed that isn't the case. Enjoy your Christmas and hope Mrs Claus doesn't tell Santa to leave coal in your stocking. Women never forget how you wrong them......LOL
I fund your advent calendar videos last year, and now I'm here at the final video of this years competition, so I guess watching these became a tradition. And what a lovely one at that! Have a blessed Christmas, and thanks for your work with the series!
I did, apologies. Some of the Friends and Disney gifts look very similar and with 144 of them hanging around it's difficult to keep them separate. Thankfully it would not have made a difference to the final outcome.
Thank you once again Jeremy! You’ve been very entertaining!!! (Despite my Friends’ last place! ) Have a very Merry Christmas! Hope to see you next year!
This was our third year watching you and opening our annual Star Wars Advent calendar with you. I now wish we had bought the Harry Potter calendar this year. We appreciate your telling us that the Star Wars was a 25-year celebration; we had been so confused wondering why it was so random. Thank you for your effort, enthusiasm, information, and great jokes. Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas 🎄thank you for a wonderful 24 days of advent. I was very happy HP won but I’m biased as I only have that set. This is my third year watching. Love it. Until next year. Happy new Year 🎉
Harry Potter really deserved to win Advent Calendar of the year, and earned it! While some of the builds are predictable, the overall Advent Calendar is the best one in terms of exclusive minifigures, with each one of them being unique with at least one exclusive print.
I saw the thumbnail of another advent video. I thought we were getting Yoda in a Christmas jumper. That ship is a real disappointment. I thought it was Slave 1 at first.
The Harry Potter win was well deserved. They had 7 mini figures which were all exclusive, and the only really bad gifts were the statues. Some people didn’t like the tables, but they each had some really nice elements so I let it pass. I also enjoyed the Lego city and friends advent calender this year as well. I thought they were very good. Star Wars and Disney were ok and Spider-Man was mid. Overall, it was a great year for advent excluding marvel and merry Christmas Jeremy! Looking forward to your future content!
Snow Diabeto! Amazing!! The City Scrooge even stole Santa's candy cane. Let's hope they're more generous next year. Thanks for doing this again, Jeremy. It's been great fun as always. Have a great Christmas.
Fantastic series Jeremy. Best jokes for the last episode. Thanks so much for continuing our very important Xmas tradition. Loved every minute. Merry Christmas ❤️🇬🇧🇺🇸🎄🎄🎄🧙♀️
This is a great video, I loved the montage at the start and the editing and camera shots are always really nice. I wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! My favourite calendar was Star Wars as I loved building many of the ships. I also loved the opportunity they gave me to swap Luke Skywalker and the door 24 build around, always a good Christmas Eve when you get a Minifigure.. but I wanted to make sure it was even better so I gave myself 2
Thank you for this annual festive treat. Happy to say my Dumbledore didn’t have the printing defects so you just have just been unlucky. Glad to see Potter back at the top of the tree. Have a great Xmas.
Great scoring!!! Happy to see a return of the great Diabeto in snow man form. We will be seeking him out! Lego Friends has also given us a space Diabeto this year. Thank you, Jeremy, for giving us the BEST Cat name in history and for all your hard work! We look forward to this every year and watch each installment every morning together as a family! Merry Christmas! 🎄
I'll have to watch the whole season again because I'm not ready for this to be the end Jeremy! I love your videos so very much! A great start with Dumbledore in such festive garb and it looks like he's using that conditioner on his beard too! Snowcat, in a hat, on an ice thingy. Is this a warning from the Heartlake hoodlums? Finally something to plug the gaping head-hole. The whole castle from Disney is good but, I can't get excited. Nice Santa from City and your jokes were not as predictable as the minifigure, oh no! They were fabulous Jeremy! What!?! Star Wars. No! I was sure you would give a minifigure. I hope my Star Wars friends are happy. As you were about to open Spidey's last lair I said, "uh oh!" It's not your fault Jeremy they just can't envision a Christmas theme with destructive characters! I'm still thinking the snow globe was the best part of this year's calendar from them. What!? A Christmas🌲with lightning⚡bolts⚡that's pretty cool! It's a really nice build! The sweater joke is🔥! Yay for Dumbledore! Agreed! Way to go Potter with the caroling 👻 ghostie! I'm with the judging of the trees!🌲🎄Uh Star Wars hello?🎋The Snowman um creature of the year had to go to Snow Piggy! Revisiting the crappie candy cane is giving me a good 😂 🤣. I love the garland with the fireplace from Potter and yes Spidey deserved the multi-day reward. Agreed on the overall sets judging too! We won! Potter finally does not end up being flushed down the tubes of the prefects' loo! Amazing! Jeremy we would all lose it if you ever stop doing this I'm just warning you! We adore you we're grateful we love you happy Christmas and we all wish you a wonderful warm joyous prosperous healthy New Year in 2025! 🌟
Great job well done Jeremy! I appreciate the time that goes into these videos so much, they have become my favourite part of the buildup to Christmas every year. I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas from all the way down here in New Zealand.
Agreed, HP was pretty easily the best advent calendar this year. That choir ghost alone almost gets them there. One of the best advent calendar minifigs ever.
Obviously the cat doesn't compare to minifigures, BUT- I was pleasantly surprised to see it! I've never seen a snow cat in a LEGO set before, and the transparent bricks are always nice to get.
Great way to end off advent, apart from Star Wars who really didn’t get the memo. Harry Potter dominating it this year for the first time in years it feels like. Hope you and your family have a good Christmas Jeremy, see you in the new year
The worst gift of the year entry for Disney wasn't from the Disney calendar! I think it was friends or city? Thanks for another fun year, Jeremy! See you in 2025!
When I gave a tree the festive point over Mrs. Claus, the comments blew up like I drowned a kitten. Either way, I could not win so I buckled to the pressure and handed it to Santa.
Merry Christmas to Jeremy and the Herbert family. Thank you for another advent of entertainment and we hope you have an amazing Christmas time. Felice Navidad and thank RIP Marvel calendar- you’ve been terrible
The electricity is more likely to represent electro cause prior builds (snow globe etc) represent different villains
23:10 jeremy "even when I tried to kick potter down". When did that happen. Tables got more points then detailed ships. I sensed this through the force from the beginning. The dark side has clouded your vision.
Anyway I wish you and all your family a merry Christmas and thank you for all your hard work.
I agree
Yeah. IMO Potter got too many points for trees and tables. Like, I don’t think the turkey the other day should’ve done as well as it did.
@@legoroan9866 definitely
It's all personal taste and Jeremy decides. Having said that, he frequently put HP low, otherwise they would have won bigger. Flitwick was an original mini figure but didn't win his day - how does that fit with your bias theory?
@@livb6945 you have a point. Just a bit of fun to call out biased especially as Harry potter coincidentally won.
Thank you Jeremy for making December fun. My 10yr old daughter is not happy with the lego friends placing, I on the other hand am over the moon being a Harry Potter fan, I'm sad it's over. Happy Christmas.
FINALLY HP WON
i have been following this for 3 years and HP finally won
Right! 🌟
I’m so sad about James Earl Jones and Maggie Smith. It was a hard way to start Christmas Eve. I miss them both.

I was torn between Disney and Spider-Man. Both were great multi-day gifts.

These guys were a great Dumbledore...

Thanks for another wonderful year. I’ll miss these videos as part of my morning routine
Another great advent calendar spectacular well done and thanks for the entertainment, most anticipated videos of the year.
19:45 all hail king hammy 👑🐹
Long may King Hammy reign. Bonus that I found the new minifigures on sale early to get Hamster Costume Girl.
Loved every minute of it JerBear, wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

RIP Maggie Smith (1934-2024)
An amazing and incredibly talented lady. Sorely missed. 😥
I love spider man’s bonus point comeback
It was unintentional, but I liked the way it came out in the end. I was surprised Marvel didn't climb more with all those points.
Thank you Jeremy for the great traditional series with well deserved winner 🤓 and I’m looking forward to the next year. Happy holidays to all of you! 🎄
