I got to meet Clay once. My friend that introduced me interrupted his story about something. Clay called him a jerk in the zorak voice. As a 35 year old man I can't believe I squealed with joy.
Back in 2009, I had a brief interaction with Clay on Facebook; when I posted a line from SGC2C. "Moltar, harvest his skin!" Clay's reply was "gimme a minute. He's sleepy." Both my kids were awestruck. And then the day he passed was the same day my grandson moved 700 miles away from me. I was useless that day, and still tear up occasionally. Is it weird to be that affected by someone I never got to meet in person? He was important to me (and my whole family) and I miss him.
Great tribute. Clay will be missed. His talent as a voice actor and an animator will not be forgotten. Rest in Peace Mr. Croker. I will think of you when I look to the night sky.
Rest in Peace, Clay! Your passing caused a great ripple of sadness through the Cartoon Network universe. A truly talented visionary animator and performer. You Will be missed! Btw, Tom, AWESOME job with your great tribute and some of those nice "rough cut" clips you threw in, as well as your amazing contributions to SGCTC over the years!

I only met him briefly, but I could totally see him dropping into Zorak's voice as a form of unique compliment to your heartfelt tribute. Seriously though, you were most lucky to hace known him so well! I always looked forward to watching Space Ghost and hearing Zorak's "comments." I loved everything about the show, but especially him I was thrilled when I heard the Brach show would costar Zorak! Sadly, it was closed after one season? I thought it was hilarious! SGCTC will forever reside in my DVD collection and I am going to go watch some right now. Hail to Zorak- Ruler of the Sardonic!

And thank you, Clay. Thank you for letting an awkward animation nerd into your life for just a moment. I met you randomly at my first Dragoncon. I asked you what it was like to be an animation director. I’m pretty sure I told you how Space Ghost was the first cartoon I ever watched and remembered. We had just got cable and I had control of the remote. Switch to Cartoon Network at like 3pm around 1998. History was made then. I got to meet you. You know the kinda art I made in college, and the graffiti I made around my city at the time. I wish I could just show you the 3D model of Zorak I made. Like how I experienced it. I promise I will never forget how much you have and continue to influence my life. I still look forward to one day creating a cartoon with you.

I hate people dying from food poisoning why can't the people who make and cook the food wash their hands before they do all this why can't they use common sense it makes me angry.
Suffered a Heart Attack with his GF while she assumed he had Food poisoning, he Died while she drove to Walgreens to get something for an Upset Stomach. He Died September 17,2016.
