Blissful Seeker namdharis are not allowed to do kirtan on the main stage since they bring up shabads not relating to Sikhi. They may sing sikh shabads but also have others which are not sikh. Namdharis are namdharis not sikh. Just another off shoot.
Rattankaur Bajwa no one has given me authority. But as the name suggests namdharis are namdharis they believe in gurus after the shree Guru Granth Saihab ji maharaj. Which is not normal. Yes agreed the babe that followed may have been called gurus by the few In fact the ones that followed I can think of the first 3 did not want to be called guru. And now you have a guru who ant got a clue. How much time will it take for you to understand that time plays it’s toll on everybody. Their can be no successor after the true guru. Guru Grant Saihab Maharaj. So you are either namdharis or sikhs. One or thee other mate I can tell you the former has just lost the battle to time. I show utmost respect to the namdhari babe right up to baba jagjit singh and that’s about it. Namdharis are proud people having put namdhari as surnames, different attire, expect respect often when it’s not even due I would call them an offshoot of the great faith of Sikhism.
