Refs must check slow motion on this sport 100% of the time. I’ve seen flinching that away with it and non flinching just based on the ref decision without checking slow motion. For this sport to survive it must go through all the rule changes and adjustments the UFC made to make fights fair and legit.
Yes agreed. Slow mo for the referee to review. Or the catchers to agree or disagree with the judges. This ain't no place to make a mistake call.
Ref needs to be on the proper side to even see! He's to Zane's left when slapping with the right. It's not rocket science to figure that out for power slap.

Cole Young chin is absolutely insane, it's actually unbelievable. Jewel Scott, who has the largest hand here, completely jumped into the slap and landed flush right on his button and all that happened was his head snapped back. This man is built different he just got to change his technique and slap like Wolverine or Turpin. He is going to be unstoppable.
