Sensitivity is minimum force signal that the game can send to the wheel. it's for lower end wheels with force deadzone i would keep it at the lowest with the high end wheels so that i wont lose detail and have a natural feeling. When you set it to 10 the game constantly sending high force signals to your wheel even when you go straight thats why it wobbles.
Lowering the vibration in game setting will lower the vibration. I'm using dd+ and was having the same problem. Lowered vibration from 100 to 50. No vibration on high speed straight
I have the same T-GT II wheel and I love it!!! Especially after update 1.49. (I used to own 2 sets of the G PRO but sold one and returned the other due to the lack of alternative wheel support and since I have updated my wheel collection to 10 diff wheels on the T-GT). Anyways, I wanted to share my perfect setup for me in GT7 since the 1.49 and 1.50 updates: Torque set to 10 and sensitivity to 5. It’s such a sweet spot and you get to feel the road texture as much as you will need.

I have the same wheel and anything over 5 an 5 is violent at high speeds. Have a go on a older race car 787B or something similar on Le Mans or another with a long straight, the wheel turns violent at high speeds.
The update killed the Trueforce effect on the Logitech Pro. Really bummed about that. I could feel the front tires scrubbing when the car was under steering. It’s just really muted now. I hope they will address this problem. Still spend way too much time playing GT7 in VR. Nothing else comes close.
Crank everything back up it's not been killed at all. Personally I have 125 vibration in game and 35 TF audio on the wheel and that's more than enough. Anymore and it's just noise drowning out the actual ffb of the wheel
Same on his TGT2 I have it aswell, the trueforce is now totally gone you dont get rumble going over curbs anymore and details of the road surface are missing aswell. As if the Trueforce or T-DFB on the TGT2 is hardly noticable anymore. I would even revert back to the old patch if i could.

The sensitivity is much more noticeable on my gpro. Its almost like a subtle deadband or exponential around center. 1 being the most direct connection, like 0 deadband or no expo. Some seem to like 3 or 10 in 1.49. 3 seems pretty good to me. Maybe the thrustmaster doesnt have a fast enough refresh rate or wide enough frequency to notice the difference 🤷♂️
Oh wow, it finally does something! I expect 10 will be my preferred once I get the other settings dialed down for maximum road feel. I also only race in VR and flat screen is now so off-putting.
I have the TGT2 and the "Trueforce" is all gone since patch. I cant feel the curbs surface anymore wich used to rattle they just give no feeling at all anymore. Seems like all the Trueforce on the Logitech and T-DFB on the Thrustmaster was totally patched out. That the wheel shakes on straights left to right was also prior patch the case depending wich car and how high you had that setting but back before the patch you could feel the curbs and also feel certain bumps in the road alot better. I'm very suprised you haven't noticed, there is a video from Simulated Driving Resource youtube channel labeled "Special: GT7 patch 1.49 nerfed TrueForce on Logitech G Pro and Thrustmaster T-DFB" that addresses the issue.
I think there is a bug in T-DFB aka "trueforce" here. Atleast for me on og t-gt it works, but I noticed when I turned the vibration strenght to max/150, the T-DFB would not work after a while. Going back to 125 fixed the problem.
Yeah, I have a Logitech Direct Drive Pro and it does make a huge difference in the way the car turns in. How responsive it is. Maybe for thrust master or fanetech it doesn't do so much. But the Logitech Wheel is very responsive out of the box, so this helps control that
Oh my God! They finally changed something in their Force feedback implementation! It was so dull 6 months ago that i gave up on GT7. There was a difference of night and death compared to ACC
Great channel. Question can u feel the kerbs with the tgt2 ,im not getting any sensation when hitting kerbs and vibration is faint through rig and pedals, its ok not amazing. Maybe my settings are in conflict. Some are saying new gt7 patch has killed the tgt2 immersion 😢 ✊🏾peace
Yes, they have increased road textures and contours or re modelled them.. I have SIMHUB with base shakers connected on mine.. I have had to reduce 2 settings road textures and bumps dramatically as my rig was almost bouncing off the ground.. it's also why they have altered the ffb on cars. Everybody says they have messed up the formula cars as it has no feedback on the wheel. I took it down the straight on route x on racing softs. It has barely any low speed but then at 200km the wheel is really tight. If you think about it if you say went over a sausage curb at low speed with what they have done with the road textures it would wrench your arms now but at high speed it you skip over it.. could well be a safety thing although I think they have over reduced on some cars. But I'm sure it was the same with how tight it was at all speeds before 🤔..
Yeah, have a similar setup. 10 in total. Putting road surface much above 5% is too much. (Think I was running something like 20% before, but I can't quite recall)

I'm running the logitech pro wheel on torque 5 and sensitivity 6. Spent ages dialling in different settings and settled there. Great road and tyre feel at this setting. Anyone else get other settings to work well?
I’ve just got a t-gt2 today coming from a t300 and I have to say it’s much stronger ffb but I wanted to ask what do you have the vibration setting on that comes from the speaker as I find on the default setting out of the box it kinda distracts me from the feedback of corners ?? Or is it just because it’s a new sensation and I have to get used to it ??

Since the update a month or so ago my TGT2 feels a lot different in the feedback, I used to really feel the gear changes on the base as well as the engine revs but now I barely feel it, to the point I’m thinking is my transducer faulty or did the update really weaken everything?
Hi I bought this wheel after watching 1 of your reviews and am really happy with it after coming from a g29 but I’m not sure if it’s because I’m just not used to this kind of wheel but I find if I go above just 2 on the force feedback I find it like a bit of a struggle and not so enjoyable just wondered what your thoughts are on this Thanks
At a 2, you won't be getting any of the data you need to be feeling. The sweet spot should be around 5-6. At a 2 you wouldn't be feeling the difference of when you have grip and when you don't.
For me the definition is strength is clear but sensivity does make you feel from a cewinggum to even not feel the curb form 10-0. I have it at 10 with torque set to 3-4 with a ddpro 8nm. But did you try to mess around with controller sensitivity i went vom 0-10 and the feeling you get for the ffb is way different. I had a lots of saves from spinning by set 10 where I wasn‘t able to react with set it to lower the 8

I have a TM wheel too, not the same one you have and I run sensitivity around 6 too and I’ve gotten some vibration from the wheel on high speed straights since before the update but it’s never been like your wheel does.
Update 1.49 is to blame for all the steering wheel force feedback issues . I had a Fanatec wheel that had absolutely zero force feedback for 80% of my cars after that update. Basically all of my road cars no longer had any feedback. I also had big issues with the wheel disconnecting randomly too many times I bought the logitech pro series wheel, and have been thrilled with it ever since.
I'm using an old G29. When playing offline, it is weak and boring. I was just able to play online, and the wheel felt stronger, and more input (like I'd have from other games).
Yeah, would obviously never keep it on this setting level, but just showing the setting actual does something now where in the past there would not be much difference between 1 and 10.
That’s the natural damper setting in your FFB. This is changeable in your wheelbase settings. The sensitivity setting in game just amplifies it. I’d wager if you did this with your natural damper setting turned down, this issue will go away. At high speeds there should be SOME shake in the wheel, especially as the tires go over uneven track surfaces, but yes, this is just the nature of FFB wheels and is not something you’d deal with in a real life car, only sim racing

La sensibilità,usando quelle impostazioni da PC,puoi regolarlo a tuo piacimento,anche a 10 e funziona correttamente. Ricorda solo di mettere il selettore su other prima di collegarlo al PC,aggiorna il firmware e puoi regolare quello che vuoi. PS : non attivare la modalità boost, rende innaturale il ffb anche se lo amplifica ancora di più
On my T GT 2 the force feedback has gone mad. When it’s higher then 6 and I’m doing more then 180mph the wheel starts violently shaking left to right. Nearly broke my arms 😂. Try the Mercedes sauber on Le Mans on the straight it’s impossible to control with the feedback higher then 6.

hi man... Max torque in 10? What is the benefit of driving such a hard steering wheel... it is slow when countersteering, it is heavy... it is tiring to drive like that, for me. 2 or 3 its okey under this update, i own a tgt2 ..
The point of showing it at 10 was not to say you should use that setting. I said I pumped it up to 10 to exaggerate the effect it has on the wheel. In the past, putting it up to 10 did nothing. That was the whole point of the video. 😀

In my TGT I barely use 3 or 4 and that is already hard. It gives you precision but makes you slow to spin. I have seen that they put 10 on the Fanatec DD
@@claudioalonsoWRCIm a really fast driver and i run 3torque and 4 sensitivity with a TGT2 for Gt3 Cars for slower cars gt4 i do 4/4 for gt2 and higher i do 2/4. I find with 3 its perfect to catch everything on GT3 cars and still habe a good Force Feedack which isnt soft or hard its pretty balanced where you can drive for hours without doing a Gym session lol
The update for the Logitech pro changed dramatically for the better once I dialed in new #’s from youtuber “wombleleader”. WHEEL_ strength 8; true force 50; filter 7; dampener 20 ; angel 1080; brake force 25; IN GAME vibration 150 but with VR I just have it on ; torque 9 and sensitivity 7; Incredible feel now, I have tweaked his #’s to my liking and the car and track. But do try these.

Exactly but with high end wheels, you do get that wobble. And I got rid of the wobble by turning that down to one

One of the biggest changes is that you no longer have to reload the race for sensitivity changes to actually take effect.

I think the vibration might have been turned down a little, but if you turn it off, you will notice how much is still there.

I keep vibration on default 100. I don't find to get in the way of anything. Is your equipment mounted well on your rig?

Hmmm, I think I have had mine set to 5, but there are so many different opinions on if the controller setting has any effect for wheels.

Logitech pro doesn’t matter. 1 gets rid of oscillation, sometimes, but that’s it
The Trueforce has been backed down; used to be really communicative when the front tyres scrubbed during understeer

I'm not having any issues with the T-GT II. Actually, it feels great.

It's good to see the setting actually does something now. I would never run it on 10. It was just for testing purposes.

hi man... Max torque in 10? What is the benefit of driving such a hard steering wheel... it is slow when countersteering, it is heavy... it is tiring to drive like that, for me. 2 or 3 its okey under this update, i own a tgt2 ..
The point of showing it at 10 was not to say you should use that setting. I said I pumped it up to 10 to exaggerate the effect it has on the wheel. In the past, putting it up to 10 did nothing. That was the whole point of the video. 😀
@@thecasualracinggamer I mean the torque at 10. I understand the purpose of the video. Even so, I have seen players using 10... and that is too hard. In my TGT I barely use 3 or 4 and that is already hard. It gives you precision but makes you slow to spin. I have seen that they put 10 on the Fanatec DD
I don't go past 6 on Torque. I'm usually between a 5 and 6.
@@claudioalonsoWRCIm a really fast driver and i run 3torque and 4 sensitivity with a TGT2 for Gt3 Cars for slower cars gt4 i do 4/4 for gt2 and higher i do 2/4. I find with 3 its perfect to catch everything on GT3 cars and still habe a good Force Feedack which isnt soft or hard its pretty balanced where you can drive for hours without doing a Gym session lol

The update for the Logitech pro changed dramatically for the better once I dialed in new #’s from youtuber “wombleleader”. WHEEL_ strength 8; true force 50; filter 7; dampener 20 ; angel 1080; brake force 25; IN GAME vibration 150 but with VR I just have it on ; torque 9 and sensitivity 7;
Incredible feel now, I have tweaked his #’s to my liking and the car and track. But do try these.
