I used to pause the game and make my friends sit through a speech where I explain how special it is that one room can be directly over another room in this engine.
You can pick up items by clicking twice on the body/object from where you're scavenging. It's a quicker way of doing so, although if there's only one thing which you want, or there's trash sorted in you could always go nitpicking, although the other way could still be faster.
I love how anything that's meant to have a heavy guitar in it has that heavy guitar touch to it, it's strong, it's in your face, and it fucking fits from how much it fucking slaps.
I have seen footage of the remake/reboot and the music did not seem all that memorable to be honest. Granted that game now seem to be quite long way from being released so who knows what music it actually ends up with. It has recently just been announced the remake will not come out this year. Hopefully that remake game ends up being good when it actually releases, but I am not getting my hopes up.
@@bruhman9262 System shock remake takes what's good from SS1 and SS2, and pays grand homage to the genre, whilst still being 'new' and accessible, best game of 2023 by far. (well if they'd just patch out the bland rough ending it would be perfect in my eyes)

holy FUCK Reactor goes harder than hell in this soundfont
Sounds a lot like Descent, the CD version of the soundtrack in particular.

Holy shit I just realized this , this is better than build engine
You're so fucking real for that. Old game engines are so cool.
Isn't it just recolored bridges? Something like using floor aligned sprites in Build, wich already has support for room over room
man i love how this soundtrack grates your ears then you pick out the melodies and jam out
Just like Dubstep

Executive sounds great!
Fancy seeing you here, brother.

Lovely
Where i can download it?
Sound track doesn't quite work with the new sound font.
Sounds about the same to me,,That's why I redid most of the sounds for my versions, so I could play the game a little more exciting.
I didnt like how level 3's music sounded with it.
I never understood why people like Timbres of heaven. its grating and poorly mixed for SS.
