What I understand is that businesses are buying plots for advertising purposes. A pizza was ordered from Dominoes in Decentraaland few weeks back, and it was delivered. That is huge , imo! I know someone that is selling apparel from her virtual store there....the eyeballs are in the metaverse!!

Back in 2004 I started doing things in Second Life with a friend that was a developer. I made a fair amount of money from Dell, Toyota, and other places for designing their virtual island. I knew back then that it would have potential and this sounds like the sandbox 'fake-estate' type of games have a lot of the same ideas. Gaming crypto is something new to me so I have to do some more research for sure. Great video.
I get the impression, when looking at the graphs, that all of these already took off, and you need to look elsewhere for the "next big thing." The risk-reward ratio of each of these looks like they suck. Should have made this video 6 months ago. THEN these projects were low and ready to explode. Now they've already exploded. How much higher will they go? Risky.

I think we should watch out especially for the VR - AR future , which will give such games like decentreland a new kind of view. After the VR immersion and every single bit of gaming gets nearly like its real , people will start to get into those virtual worlds and when the builders and creators connect such virtual worlds with crypto , it will be just like the matrix, where you can build your own new life with your piece of land and so on. Mark my words and come few years later back to it

Now imagine, few years ago if some told us they would make TV screens that can be bend like paper, we would have laughed. Technology is growing exponentially, I guess in few years there will be full immersive platforms like VR, maybe with a help of the neural chip or something. And than people will start to build places online to meet up virtually with their friends or show off their nfts. Thats the point where this whole sector will have their best use ( 3d world / land / real estate virtual estate thing)

No tax here but we have gas fee here, but it depends on what NFT game you play, some blockchain doesn't require gas fee and some do specialy when the game is under Binance and Ethereum etc.

A few game developers have partnered with Gala Games. Their goal is to make games you actually want to play. Most P2E games are very primitive and not very fun lets be honest. Their ecosystem reminds me of STEAM with one account to play all their games. Their website has a list of their upcoming games, and they all look incredible.

For now, you only pay tax on what you cash out into your bank as fiat.
