Thanks very much for posting this! What an incredible concert! I have been listening to John Renbourn and Jacqui McShee for over 40 years and this is the best live show I have heard of their music! hai ragione... solo che ho perso gli originali..... cerco di rimediare. per la scaletta non posso. la registrazione non era prevista e Cesaroni mi chiamò praticamente il pomeriggio e montammo di corsa tre microfoni e un apparato ancora poco diffuso diu registrazione digitale. dopo il check i due affabili sentita la qualità della registrazione decisero di rovinare il tutto con colpi di tosse continui

@@lizlalove6171 the thing was that Jansch could sing as well. Renbourn was probably an even more technically proficient guitarist than Jansch (though Bert is my favourite).
I would have thought that John was more of a virtuoso, whilst Bert was more creative. Their respective ( fantastic) first albums illustrate this. But when they played together, the sum was greater than its parts. To me, their incredible 1966 duet album « Bert and John » is one of the very best acoustic guitar albums of all time.

pentangle was the first of this type of music that we heard in the late 60s. i never heard of fairport til way later
through most of the 70s i lived in a large hippie commune in summertown tenn. we were basically cut off from everything but the allman bros

Hard to believe that John played second fiddle for so long, but you get a glimpse of Bert and realize both were blessed by the other.
I was just thinking that. John had just as much virtuosity as Bert but got second billing most of the time.
