Brilliant little Road Trip Will and Chas, looking forward to Part 2 already. Not a huge E Type Fan, but have to admit looks good In silver and non of the wire wheels.
Great video chaps. I was working in a garage in deepest West Sussex around 1972 when I first encountered a V12 E-type. One look under the bonnet and I was smitten! I've been obsessed ever since 😀
I'm with you on XK engined E Types. big, tall, heavy engine that was hardly cutting edge when released in 1948. Based on the pre-war block. I also don't like the much lauded rear suspension. It is very heavy and I think a De Dion rear would have made more sense and been lighter. And don't get me going on serviceability! Now, an E-Type with a decent Toyota or Nissan turbo six...
I'm with you Will much prefer the V12, not like I'll ever afford one. Didn't you once feature an early e-type with a BMW engine swap or rebodied one years ago?

Cool E-type, but still have lots of love for the SEC.

Glad you enjoyed, Peter
Braver than I. But a great adventure.
We're not into doing anything sensible at PPC 😁
@@ppcmagazine Hahaha.... Good on you.
Always preferred the V12 as well

I like the T-shirt Will. Something the youngsters wont recognise.

@@ppcmagazine awesome, look forward to that mate in all it's purist angering beauty.
Does the E have LED indicators on the front?
Yeah, I think it does.
Guys its an E-Type you must be prepared for unreliability!! 😉
No idea what you're on about... 😉
The coupé is a far better looking car than the roadster imho.
Wouldn't complain with either to be honest 😉
