Those DG's also lower a unit's Action Rating (AR) by one as well. You got me with that mention of "aircraft flying at more than 1/2 range." Going to have to look that one up.
Thats why I decided to go phase by phase and read rules over and over again. I knew I was missing things, just didnt know what. Making the game more fun though.
Good to see you get back into OCS. I'm looking forward to a full game of DAK in the summer. So I need to get my OCS eye back in after playing a lot of BCS.
Always nice to see someone getting into OCS. A word of advice, be careful with strategic moving units near the front (im guessing they are US units) as they could be attacked by a weak axis tracked unit. If I was controlling the axis i would use the italian superga units to attack them in multiple overruns
Hey Hexy, what do you use for clipping counters? I'm hesitant in pulling the trigger on one of those handheld clippers if I can find an option less than the $60 they go for. I mean, I'd like clipped counters, but I'm not sure I "$60 want them." Know what I mean?
I use the Oregon Laminations Metal ones for everything, with the exception of the thicker counters that wont fir in them. In that case I keep a couple of their plastic, large clippers around.
Supply issues meant I couldn’t do everything that I wanted…Brilliant…Do I keep pushing with the Brits and French along the coast..Or truck that supply for 1st US Armoured to sweep in…Decisions decisions.

If they transfer bases then they stay active it it is 10 hexes or half range, I cant remember.
Also, more than half-range -1 DRM
@@Hex2Hex I believe it is 1/2 range. Had forgotten that one.
@@Hex2Hex THAT was the one I never noticed.

Thanks RvT. Love your stuff, hope you do some videos on DAK.
@@Hex2Hexright, so that's at least one viewer then 🙂
Very cool - definitely energy coming from Hexy
Thank you sir.
This is great intro game for the system.
I agree.
Damn this system is so hexy! I need to play it when I have enough table space.
Great start into OCS. Good scenarios that are low counter density.

And as you state this, I learn a quick lesson on the map, lol.
I have the original Gamers version of Tunisia. I haven't played it since the early 2000's.
That was the 1st one I played, map didn't really bother me.
what scenario are you playing?
The Campaign Mark.
@@Hex2Hex nice I love OCS need to get it back on the table. I absolutely love it enjoy
Will do Mark!!

@@Hex2Hex That'd be the 2 mm ones, yes?
I actually prefer the 3 mm ones but I keep one of each 2 2.5 and 3 around just in case there's too much information on the counters.
@@Hex2Hex Would the 3 mm be appropriate for GBACW? (Sorry for the question dump, but I thank you very much for the help. These ain't that cheap lol)
@@patjacksonpodium That's what I am using. I would say use 2.5mm, seems to be what most prefer.

Wait til you see the next report, poor 1st Armor and mud.
@@Hex2Hex keep em coming…I’d like to see US 1st Armoured do the business.
