A show that won multiple awards and was adored by fans young and old alike, Avatar: The Last Airbender featured beautiful and powerful music throughout the show’s seasons. The show takes place in a fantasy world with much Asian culture and influence. Despite its intended 6-11 age range, the show touched on and discussed many very serious topics such as mental health, family, and personal honor.
With this arrangement, I wanted to include themes that fans of the show would know and enjoy; I hope I did that with gems such as “Secret Tunnel” and “Leaves from the Vine”. The piece’s 3rd movement (or book) is from a piece titled “Peace”. This music is what ends the show after the big fight with the bad guys has concluded. It is an excellent encapsulation and summary of the beautiful music that Jeremy Zuckerman has composed for such an important show. I hope that you enjoy it.

When I first saw Avatar as a kid and i saw the ending it shocked me and I didn't understand why Aang didn't kill Ozai but now that it's 11 years later and i'm turning 21 soon I'm against killing and I'm trying to become Vegetarian like Aang 83 amazing what a show can do to you, right?

I love how for the last agni kai they could have gone with an epic orchestral piece, but they recognized the tragedy of two siblings torn apart by war
Very true. The slow motion with the touching music made it one of the best moments in the show for me
and it was not Zuko who ended Azula, it was the 'water tribe peasant' she looked down on. the opressed won and Zuko, the former oppressor, showed complete 180 with saving Katara while in the second episode he almost burned down their village.

I always thought the final fight to become Fire Lord was sad, and didn’t even think that about the music till a few years ago. “Siblings torn apart by war” puts it perfectly... it is sad.
The entire show I hated Azula, but near the end all I could do was feel bad for her. Raised by a shitty father and having everyone leave her. The tragic music was beyond perfection
It happened the same to me, i felt so bad for her, of course i still hated her but I at least understood her better

This is basically the entire avatar series rehashed in a series of many beautiful emotions- from laughter in secret tunnel, to utter disaster and mourning in leaves from the vine, introspection during the final Agni Kai, to the pure joy of Aang and Katara kissing-this son alone was an emotional roller coaster.
I wish the show wasn’t aired on Nick but on Cartoon Network adult swim so the show could’ve been even darker

The part of Peace at 10:26 is so incredible, I think it may be the most underrated piece of music from the show - with all due respect to the last Agni Kai, Leaves From the Vine, Secret Tunnel (!), and other great works of Zuckerman
A true show. Actually taught us lessons that changed our lives forever. Gave us characters to inspire us to be good people and do amazing things for others. Avatar the Last Airbender will continue to better as a person and will stay in my heart forever.

As guard captain at my school, this would be the most incredible show to perform. I can picture giving different guard members different uniforms to reflect the 4 nations. (Weapon line would have fire nation uniforms to be the fire nation army?) A three movement show could adapt the storyline of the original show well too, with each movement being a book. I would perform my heart and soul out for an ATLA show!

I know keeping tempo of the intro was a bit too fast, but the narrator really should have more expression. IMHO she sounded kinda disinterested.
It seemed as if she had never heard the original narration, as the dramatic pauses and spacing weren't there.

Man I watched ATLA for the first time not that long ago so it was never really a part of my childhood but launching into this whole community and listening to the incredible soundtrack has a way of taking me back to the good days and getting me in my feels even if I didn’t watch it back then

Everytime when I hear the music, i got goosebumps try not to cry and see the final episodes in front of my eyes, also remember the first time i watched Avatar back in 2007. In my opinion its one of the best series of all time, and my all time favourit. Only love for Avatar ❤

I am 13 years old, born in 2005. I’m about to turn 14, really really soon. This show came out in 2006 and I’ve been watching this show as long as I can remember. Something happened and I didn’t watch it for years. The last time I watched I think I was like around 4 or 5. I found all the CD’s in my room and started crying because I loved this show so much. Everything about it is amazing. This popped us on my recommended and the part I started crying on was secret tunnel. The reason why was because I remembered when I was little singing alone to that song. I pictured small little 5 year old me dancing around and singing to that song. Thank you so much for this. It really makes me happy 😊
