Thank you very much for this great review. After i watched your review i ordered the product and started to use it regularly. With adding eating mostly healthy food i managed to drop my weight from nearly 100 kg to 80... During winter time it was hard to walk outside and i have a small house and this walking pad was the perfect solution... Simply open it in my living room, open the TV start walking
Wow! I am in the same situation! I want to order it. I just hit 110kg, so the max of that walkingpad but I still want to buy it using the fact that I can still go lower :D. 20kg, nice! Congrats!
Anyone asking about the weight limit (most common asked question with no answers) 110 kg / 242,5 lbs, I can tell you that I weight 125 kg / 275,5 lbs and the WalkingPad Pro has been workin well, no issues. That is when you only use it for walking, not running. And with time you will hit that 110 kg / 242,5 lbs limit eventually, so just go for it! Awesome machine!
Thank you so much, I myself am over the wight limit and was looking for a way to get more exercise at home (walking mainly) and couldn't find info anywhere.
Heya. May I ask if you are still using the walking pad and how it's been holding up? I'm considering getting it but am a bit concerned that, with me being on the upper weight limit, it might show wear an tear more easily.
Good review but very important detail is missed... how this treadmill sounds.. I mean the noise. It is a very important detail when choosing treadmill for home.
If I wanted to use it as an under desk treadmill, do you think it will hold up? Under desks treadmills like lifespan tr1200 or tr5000 are designed to be used for hours, whereas home running treadmills may not; you may want to use it for 30 or 45’ and then put it away. I see the motor is > 1HP with a 2HP peak, which makes a difference with other treadmills, but still...
Thank you for the review. Did you continue using it? Can you please update how the treadmill hold up with time? I want to buy it but couldn't find reviews about it's durability.
Thanks, I was curios about this one. I hike in Sedona, AZ, however at this time the nights aren’t cooling off enough, and with that said I am looking into a affordable, compact treadmill.
@@jadeg6518 I have not used it for a while I had an issue with the remote and the replacement I ordered did not work, it only works via the phone app, it was good at the time.
I have this and get a sense that it's a bit uneven or have a hard time keeping it level, so front and back feel weird when my trailing foot passes the mid point
How is the smell of the walkingpad? Some time ago I had bought a treadmill from a different manufacturer, which technically was good. However it had a very strong and unpleasant chemical smell. After two weeks of outdoor ventilation there was still no improvement, so I had to return it. The Xiaomi WalkingPad seems very nice, but a bad smell would be a criterion for exclusion.
I bought a non folding treadmill for a quarter of the price. We pay premium for the folding ability. How can anyone say this model is not super expensive?
Great review! Thanks so much! I've been doing a lot of research and this is the exact model I want. Do you know if there are plans to offer this in a place with an easier return policy in case the item is damaged or somehow faulty?
Where can this be purchased and what is the weight capacity. I have looked all over and cannot find this product for $399? I did find it for $699 which would be overpriced.
The Walkingpad R1 pro I'm seeing only has the walking mode and up to 3.7mph, and doesn't appear to have a hand rail line your model. Am I missing something in my searches? Nevermind, I realized that the Amazon link you posted is for a different model.

I am struggling with the machine making too much noise and having a pause in the working. There are no videos to show how to take care of those teething issues. I also cannot fold the machine back. I have to loosen the belt for that and no matter how much I do, it isn't working. I don't know what I am doing wrong but am at my wits end.
I am having hard time to connect to the app, without app you can't complete the beginner guide exercise and it would not allow you use the auto features without the completion of the beginner guide thing.
Hi, I just purchased a R1 Pro yesterday, after I lie it flat and turn it on. The Led display only show SAFE. And nothing responsive as I try the 3 buttons and the remote except some beep sound. What should I do. 😅😅Please advise. 🙏🙏
You have to plug in the safety string before you can start the machine (The string that is supposed to hook onto your clothes when you use the machine) In case u tripped it will be unplugged from the machine and stop the machine immediately

I found this on their website for A1, "Walk on Walkingpad for more than 1 km at the capped 3 km / hr speed. The the speed can be unlocked automatically, this design is used to protect novices." It may have the same reason for the R1.
Is there any way to hack it to allow full speed with the handle down? Like a position sensor you could cover or a way to take it off? I would like to have a handle free treadmill that will work at full speed.
I like the idea of a very compact treadmill but does it need the app to work or can it be used without it? I read comments that it requires the app to go faster and the app has a lot of problems. Some have trouble logging in/connecting or get logged out/disconnected making the treadmill useless. Does anyone have problems with the app as well?
