Superb. Not overly (or unnecessarily) rude, but at the same time not giving an inch. And it's also important to call out to the professional guys too like P.C. Shaw. The ones who actually deserve respect instead of demanding it. For me that's what justifies an audit. You have to acknowledge the passes as well as the fails or people will argue that you're just looking to cause a scene.

Another quality video from two guys who know their rights. Shaw was fine but my word imagine working for a Chief Constable who successfully made himself look a complete fool. Laughing stock of the force I’d say.
Well done PC Shaw. He didn't want any part of that interaction but was forced to because of Father Ted. I wish there were more like Shaw with a bit of common sense to know filming in a public space isn't a crime.

Not only did you present yourself correctly and inform them you were filming, you also made your enquiries with a pleasant tone of voice, kept your distance, did not approach in an aggressive manner or keep taking one step towards the men and, overall, an impeccable example of what I had been raised to believe of them (1960s).
My experiences with them have, since the '90s, totally changed my opinion of "them", with the exception of a now-retired, local Bobby and you, sir.
P. C. SHAW, you are a credit to the uniform and colleagues could learn a great deal from you.

The polices ego and tyranny infects the civilian staff, being around corrupt filth changes there opinions of them selfs, I hope the civilian staffs friends or neighbours leave some comments on there behaviour towards the public. Auditors are showing the public the arrogance of police, daily newspaper reports of the met polices officers crimes is staggering.

as other have said, another fantastic audit from Nobody poor audits - excellent work at exposing and educating. PC Shaw seemed very reasonable as you stated. The high ranking high viz jacket guy had clearly spent years behind a desk and lost touch with the public, he was in at the deep end from the start but didn't realise - he had to have the last word. thank you.
But what about the controller guy???? Why he wear boots and combat gear if he's sat at a desk. But fair do's his job must be tough to have to walk way out to the gate for an E DRAG. To calm his nerves.
I know you do this sometimes already but I think you should start using more of their own terminology against them... like "is there anything I could reasonably say or do to get you to answer my question" or "my advice to you is to KNOW the law when in public....I'm just concerned about your safety, that's all". Make a point of using their fishing tactics and passive aggressive 'advisory directives' against them so they KNOW they're not going to linguistically sneak around you.

Fair play to PC Shaw, but that chief sums up everything that is wrong with the police. It's not about what the law is, it's about massaging their pathetic little egos. Hopefully the next generation of chiefs aren't as pathetic as that.
11:00 The chief can't resist giving a pointless and useless directive. Stating something is private property doesn't mean anything about the public not being allowed on it. Just about everywhere in the UK is privately owned.
Oh dear SBML, the owner and/or their agents can use reasonable force to remove people who refuse to move off the private property, regardless of whether the land is publicly accessible or not. Trespass is an offence, initially on a civil offence, but can easily lead to aggravated trespass if the trespasser refuses to leave after being asked to do so and then resists removal.

It's reasonable *and appropriate* force. If the trespasser is just standing doing nothing, then under common law no force can be used. There is an exception for a home owner since that is "their castle", but security do not have any authority under common law to use any force, even reasonable, if the situation doesn't necessitate it. Witness how security handles protesters who just sit down and do nothing - most of the time they do not drag them away.
Refusing to leave doesn't make it aggravated. Aggravated trespass is if there is active disruption of the lawful business of others.
Refusing to leave immediately and doing nothing else other than standing means that the owner has to use negotiation and discussion and other methods (such as leaving the trespasser alone so that there is no content to record for their UA-cam channel). They can't use the refusal as grounds to use force. They can ensure that the trespasser doesn't go further on to the property by blocking and guiding, but there is little under law that the owner can do if the trespasser isn't actively disrupting the lawful business of others or damaging things (when it would become aggravated).
Trespass is also not a black and white issue. Putting one foot one foot on the property does not mean that the owner can do anything as it's can't be argued to be disruptive and can't be damaging anything nor is it stopping others enjoying the land.

They are often right in people's faces. A court would through that trespasser's 'I was doing nothing' out, as intent is obvious, they are not accidentally trespassing, they are habitual trespassers. Interesting you fight for their right to do so.

6:25 No he doesn't know anything about drones. There is no license to fly. There is an operator ID and a flyer ID, but they aren't licenses.

There are drone licenses for commercial activity, like the A2 CofC and the GVC, but for this class of drone (C0 with camera) all you need is an operator ID. You don’t even need a flyer ID.

I find it strange that in villages and suburbs there would be a nice little cop shop where we could pop in for a chat, get the passport form signed etc. These were closed as a cost saving. So they could build these office blocks that no member of the paying public can get near to, let alone got the passport form signed from a bobby they are familiar with. This they call progress.
