Hey capt. sorry the for the trigger being sticky currently unsure why that is happening, it seems to randomly pop up every now and then. May need a teeny bit of grease on the flippy arm and possibly a tiny bit of sanding/grease on the internal shell where the yoke rubs against the shell. Happy blasting :)(btw its foxfire, didn't want to self promo as I cared more about spreading the blaster design then promoting my shop)
Where did you get that absolutely lovely internal setup? It’s so compact.
@@BenthewildchildE750 Custom designed by Chance H the whole entire blaster is his creation @its_just_chance its a fairly modular internals too, takes 4 screws to swap out the entire cage /switch module.
That blaster in Rebelle colors would be very apropos. Excellent blaster. Bangarang!
Hey Cap!
Thanks for the review, glad you liked it :)
The sticky trigger thing was definitely the hardest issue to overcome. SuperStressed uses a mildly stronger return spring to good effect, though unfortunately from the "bin of springs" so no link for those. It also seems to be a bit of a per-unit thing - my personal build doesn't really stick at all and it has the spring from the BOM in it. Unfortunately, finding a spring of the exact dimensions and weight that I'd like that's also available on Amazon is a bit of a crap shoot and this was the closest I could find :\
As for whether it'd be a good fit for HvZ - absolutely! It can use FTW wheels as well (with a different cage print) and can hit as low as 80fps.
Chance and several other players have all been absolute *menaces* with Traceurs at Aldoss's weekly parkour gym wars! It's such a good blaster for agile CQB gameplay. Chance also used a Traceur with a different cage/motor/wheels for the most recent RIT HvZ weeklong.
Oh, also, a fun anecdote - one of our locals had never used heat-sets before building his Traceur, and resorted to hitting them with a hammer to *mostly* seat them into the blaster - the shell was still intact after 50 hammer strikes XD
Good job captain keep the reviews coming
Love a good review!
The sveltitude of this *thing* is unparalleled!
Rapid Red vibes.
Ingenious.
Love your videos keep it up 😊
Nice !
lookin at from the top. it has a bottle shaped profile. Root Beer Bottle blaster maybe?
I have no idea what they would do together, but I would love to see the Captain collab with PirateSoftware. Thor is also a dwarf at heart, and I would love to see his reaction to the level of innovation that comes from the world of Nerf Modding
Captain, is the single stage trigger a newer development of nerf tech or has the system been around for a while? I remember hearing that people did it to barricades with the “prototype” stryfes. That were made before the stryfe actually was a blaster.
If you look at it from the top, it's got a nice coke bottle design
Hi
Not gonna lie, it kind of looks like a bottle from above. So what you need to do is get some Sprecher labels and place them on the top.
Looks like a tagging gun but bigger
I do love the curviness of it!
great job! keep it up! By the way, do you plan to release the BK-1S?
@@CaptainXavier It's a reiteration of the BK1, walcolm already made a review.
When it’s in an AK pouch does it hit the trigger??? I couldn’t tell.
This would look awesome in purples and white in a Rebelle loadout
No. There is enough of a lip on the trigger guard to not catch the trigger.
@@CaptainXavier sweet! Its a great looking blaster that could easily be kitted to an HvZ levrlt
Hey do you have any tips for beginners on how to make nerf gun hurt bad?
No. Nerf shouldn't hurt. That is the whole point. If you want pain, go with Airsoft.. or a Dominatrix.
Legit thought the blaster was in a holster
TRACEUR RAHHHHH WHAT THE FUCK IS A RIGHT ANGLE
you cant say slopes anymore.
Looks like a coke bottle with a pistol grip
I was involved in the beta for this. Fun blaster. Some notes
1. Can definitely confirm you need a very strong return spring for it.
2. It's officially pronounced Trac -oor, as it's based on the french word for someone who does parkour. The blaster was designed with the intention of being used in the local wars we hold in a parkour gym, so that was the intent behind the name. That being said, pretty much everybody says trac-er anyways.
“Track-ewer”
