Your strongest spell may very well be as strong as someone else's basic spell if they're way stronger than you are. For example, FFXIV Bahamut's Gigaflare was enough to devastate an entire continent in a near instant and killed countless people, and his Teraflare would have destroyed far more than Eorzea if it hit the ground. Donald's Zettaflare on the other hand was just one beam that couldn't even kill its intended target and in fact killed the caster.
Honestly, even having grown up with Kingdom Hearts, it is _especially_ hilarious that we get to correct people on Goofy being a warrior, and all the other stuff.
If I remember correctly in KH1 every Disney party member had a designated Final Fantasy class because they originally planned to let you bring them to other worlds and customize your party with them. (Aladdin was a thief, Jack Skellington is a black mage, etc.)
my favourite part of kh1 is when they get to the end of the world and goofy has a deeply philosophical speech about how that works functions and what will happen to their souls when they destroy it
Really any time a beloved Disney character has to start dipping into the Final Fantasized lore of the game while somehow staying in character is a sight to behold.

my favourite aspect of pete being banished to another dimension is that it's revealed that the reason he was sent to another dimension was because he commited identify fraud to try and win a free ice cream

The delivery of that line was so perfect that I could *feel* the rage in Mickey's voice, and I can't think of many contexts where "actually angry Mickey" would make sense. He gets frustrated plenty in the cartoons, sure, but this wasn't mere frustration, this was *anger*. This was Mickey barely maintaining composure at the loss of a dear friend. That scene was unironically great.

SPOILERS FOR 358/2 DAYS roxas and xion are, like, new beings. like. babies forced into being teenagers without any learning along the way. they dont know what the human/'somebody' experience truly is. all roxas knows is that he likes his friends, he likes ice cream, and he likes sharing it with friends. when xion dies, he realizes hes losing something important to him, and he expresses it through what hes experienced. because thats all he has as a reference. (though i will admit jesse mccartney probably could have delivered the line a little better)

When I was younger, I was like "OMG this is awesome!". I still kind of feel like towards the series today, but with more of a hint of "Oh god, why?" Yes, KH is ridiculous, but it's fun to see in action.
it becomes normal, at least for me. what outsiders fail to understand about the series quite frequently is that because of the writing/story you start to feel an emotional connection to the characters. thus, from the outside, donald and goofy encouraging sora to keep going in the final xehanort fight in kh3 might seem silly, but when youve spent so much time with them, theyre just... your partners. you dont think of them as silly disney characters first and foremost. theyre your constant companions who love you unconditionally and have always got your back, no matter what.
For me, it became completely normal, and some of the characters play such central roles to where you can't imagine them not being there. But, at this point, the Disney "worlds" just feel tacked-on and shoehorned in to the story. They have enough original characters and disjointed lore now to make a whole story without the fanservice, but Disney wouldn't allow that, for sure. Just my opinion, but I'd love if the next game just stuck with the main cast and didn't make us act out a movie for the 5th time. It was fun in the beginning, though.

i dont mind vin himself poking fun at it out of context, but i think fans mostly get frustrated bc kh is an easy target as the 'funny haha disney anime crossover game'. like, just bc of its premise they discount the real emotional connection players (like myself) have with it.
