The lion king is a mash up of things that are specific to cultures around Africa, even the majority of the lyrics for the circle of life are in Zulu. so without African culture and the zulu language there would be no circle of life and no lion king. i guess we just have to give props to Disney for bringing it all together and animating it.
As a fellow choir member I could proudly say this performance is one of the best I've seen before and believe me I've seen so many amazing choir group and this one officially become one of the best in my list

I have watched Lion King in 2018when the theatre actors came here in the philippines. The play and the music gave me all high goosebumps. This olympic choir gave me the same feeling. I'm so emotional.
