You know, on the one hand I am grateful the these super rich guys are preserving our American heritage by restoring and preserving these wonderful cars. They are works of art that an ordinary person could buy and enjoy when they were new. On the other hand it almost sickens me that these rich guys are hoarding all the good ones for themselves, putting them in their private collections and museums -- some of which the general public is not even invited to see , much less drive or even touch or sit in. Does one collector really need ONE OF EACH COLOR of a rare model? Or have 4 out of eight produced? Come on!
@@InternalCombustion dude, I have had a woodie for a 31 Imperial since my first sighting of one.... and that was 1979 when I was 13yrs old. The damn things JUST don't come loose,, and the phokkers who first played with those died LONG ago. Cool toys will ALWAYS be hard to reach. It's just a fact of life. My WWII Airborne trooper Granddad used to tell me, anything worth having is worth working hard to get. He was right. My 70 SuperBird with 28k miles on it is proof. Keep humping, stay involved in the hobby,,and make friends with old guys.... not all of them are about the money.... a select few are about code. If you have it,,, you will benefit by it. Keep the Faith.
We have been accepted for the 2021 show but since there is a state wide mask mandate our party of 12 and 4 cars will not be attending, along with the unconstitutional weapons law that a law abiding citizen can't defend their selves with equal force. To bad its a very nice show
@@InternalCombustion 1967 Plymouth fury police car, lights siren radar ticket book savage shot gun all period correct. 375hp 440, 323 gears with a 75 shot of nitrous lol. It runs 14.10 in the quarter mile. With AC, they wanted it in the front foyer when people walk in. Maybe next year thank you for asking 👍
