Juliet has her first chemotherapy appointment, and Ste is at the hospital with James to provide support. Later, at The Dog, James feels as if he's letting Juliet down while Ste reassures him. Tony gives James a gift that Verity had wrapped for him, which turns out to be a book full of uplifting quotes that Marnie had written and given to Verity last Christmas, which is a heart-warming moment for James.
