- 🎙 Talking points on this week’s episode of ‘That’s Debatable!’ include:
📢 FSU member cleared in record time - Former Royal Marine Jamie Michael was unanimously acquitted of ‘stirring up racial hatred’ after a jury took just 17 minutes to throw out the charge. His ‘crime’? A 12-minute Facebook video calling for peaceful protests about illegal immigration. The FSU covered his legal fees and secured top legal representation.
📢 GMP’s reckless doxxing - Greater Manchester Police released the name and address of a man arrested for burning a Koran, putting him at serious risk. Toby Young has written to GMP’s Chief Constable in protest - just a few weeks ago, an Iraqi man was murdered in Sweden for the same act.
📢 Labour’s ‘Islamophobia’ council - Angela Rayner is setting up a government council on Islamophobia, chaired by ex-Tory Attorney General Dominic Grieve. He previously backed the APPG’s dangerously broad definition, which FSU has warned could suppress legitimate criticism of Islam.
📢 NHS bans ‘obese’ - Under new taxpayer-funded guidance from NICE, doctors and nurses must now say “people with obesity” instead of ‘obese’. Also blacklisted: “diabetic,” “alcoholic,” and “smoker.” The new terms? “People with diabetes,” “people who are dependent on alcohol,” and “people who smoke.”

There should be serious punishment for bringing a case that takes 17 minutes to be dismissed.
Its said 'the process is the punishment'
You should have continued with the Kellie Jay Keen story. Someone sitting near her challenged her, and her riposte was terrific.
Fab discussion. Very interesting.
Further query from the book burning, where does flag burning sit?
Royal Marines are part of the Royal Navy, not the British Army! 👍🏻
