Oh and ps - for the recipe holder - you can use (maybe) an exacto to cut the slits to open it up to lay flat, trace it on card stock and cut it out. Or if you have a Cricut or similar, you can find a file, reduce its size and cut it out? Just trying to think of ways you can get more. 😊

Theirs looks like Chicken stew. Hearty and thick. Your soup is more like the chicken soup I am used to with lots of broth and good for you when you are feeling sick.

I wonder if you could make the pickles removable. If you cured a thin layer of vinegar with mustard seeds inside the jar and then giving each spear a thin coat as well to make them shiny, they can then be assembled together for storage or pulledout to use as garnishes

Hi CC! I noticed the box being smaller when I purchased the diner series 3. I got home and counted 15 and though it was wrong lol. The carrots, Celery and onions are called Mirepoix. The Holy Trinity is onions, carrots and peppers for Cajon cooking. 😁

I like both soups, but yours looks like it has seasonings in it... Yours looks like it has more flavor to it and not just all vegetables, meat, and noodles like they give for the project... They need to add a bag or jar of seasoning flakes to the ingredients ... Then I think theirs would look even better...

You can also use a sandwich bag as a piping bag in real life and the snacks size for mini’s. It’s thinner and you can throw it away after. I use it for deviled eggs and homemade cakes 😊

Wait… series 3? Holy cow! The cafe balls are smaller than the diner series. Are they smaller than the other cafe series? I want to figure out something to use the capsules for some other craft. I hope you cured the rest of the stuff in the little piping bag so you could use it as a prop.

They are the same size balls. i havent noticed any difference in sizes from series two to three. I made a couple snow globes out of them and then i made egg chairs out of the table legs and yellow bottoms.

The capsules are the same as the other series, cafe 3 same as cafe 1,2. Diner same as Diner 1,2. only the display box the capsules come in was a tiny bit smaller :). Not a bad thing :).

People may not like me saying so, but I liked your chicken soup better than theirs. I did like their bowl better, though.. No offense.. You didn't have that option, after all. I have not seen this one in stores where I live, but I'm excited for it to get here. The snow cones look so cute, and the potatoes, and I love the pickles and cookies you made. So many goodies! Oh, forgot to say, for a thinner piping bag. even though it won't be pointed at the end, it may still work, but if you've ever seen food works and the super thin gloves they have to wear.. Not the latex ones, but the plastic ones that make your hands sweat.. haha Those would be perfectly thin enough.. Or you can learn how to make your own from parchment triangles. I never could master those myself.. heh Wilton's bags are so thick now because they use to break down the seams easily if you used a true buttercream icing in them. I ruined many cakes because of those horrible bags. I had to start buying reusable and just washing them constantly. (sorry for the long post.. I talk too much)

I have horrible memory but I think these are the first two boxes I buy that I think are “full”. I typically only buy some capsules if there is not a lot of boxes in store so others can get some then if I find an empty box or if I’m buying another few that are left in the box I ask if I can take it and fill them up from online orders or other store purchases.
