Samsung is their biggest competitor so that is their way of trying to beat Samsung. It is clear that Apple doesn't care shit about what people really want, all they care about is making their money.

But having a few years of updates and a nicley optimized system is not worth 800-1000$ for me as their processors are actually not that expensive in reality while Android phones usually use top of the line propcessors (depending on model) but I understand that is also because Android takes way more space and RAM usage than iPhone. The last iPhone I had was the iPhone 7 256 GB Jet Black and I can't say it was anything wrong with it, as usual the experience was smooth, most of the time atleast, I experienced quite alot of bugs and glitches in animations and apps crashing. But other than that everything was fine. But it was too expensive because all I really use a smartphone for is to kind of talk to people on messenger as I do not use social medias. And I do not need such an expensive device for that so I traded it away. I usually get bpred with an iPhone after like 2 weeks anyway but I can't exactly tell why. Probaböy fpr that simple little reason that Android has a bettee Equaliser for when I listen to music haha. But I do likr that the iPhones are really simple and good looking, but I have to buy a used one of I get one, I do not want to pay retail prices.
I'm confussed, when you were showing from the unlock screen you showed that the the first iPhone vs new iPhone that you could swipe immediately on the first iPhone and a little lag on the newer iPhone ( until iOS 11 ) but than you were showing a little bit later that the first iPhone you could not swipe the 1st iPhone at all because there were no other screens to swipe to. I realize that is not a good way to put what I mean but hopefully you get my point.
