@ totally agree. I felt bad about leaving my villagers in their awful decors, so I pushed my way through HHP. So glad I did.
I didn't know you could do this, I guess I'm stuck somewhere in the game and can't progress.
Do you have the Happy Home Paradise DLC?

@emilystapleton5265 Yes, you need the DLC to get the ability to remodel your villagers' houses.
