    Thank you for sharing your adventure! Would be a Sunday afternoon task to scale those adits down 😉
    Those long sticks with a circular shaped tip are probably links for flat cars. Transporting long pieces of equipment (wood/piping/etc.) in form of a train would require a flat car with a tied down load and a long stick to link it to the locomotive or another loaded flat car.

      those drill holes in the wall were probably from a smithing workshop where the drills were mended.
      I found the survey markers intriguing, they have a system and should be referred to in a geological survey report.

      Could be, I was also thinking of possibly a massive candle holder used in a stope.

    That box of dynamite is damned scary! Some of those sticks look like they've done a lot of sweating, and even moving them an inch or so could cost you!
    I've known guys who made nitro in their kitchen for kicks, and know something about explosives.

    that plate is a safety guard if the lines blow,

      @undermine69  4 місяці тому

      Wouldn’t it also be used to keep shrapnel from running the line when they blasted?

    24:15 Could that be 2024, rather than 1924? It looks like spray paint, which wasn't around during the 20's (although I could be wrong)

      I have photos of that marking well before 2024

    Looks like 91 was the last time anyone had been back in there.

    Why is a Start and Stop Switch mean a wen's could be a Fan/blower switch, compressor or even lights.
