- This was so much fun to make! I used paint and water to create the original flower shapes. Then I used gloss gel and acrylic paint to make the impasto leaves. I love the 3D effect and the combination of art techniques. Hope you enjoy the video! Thank you so much for watching. Happy painting!

This is Gorgeous! This would look really cool with a faintly sea-sponged background using just the tip of the sea sponge with light green and light yellow. It’s beautiful the way it is though. 😊♥️

I have a favorite flower that is completely out of the norm...Black Bat Orchids, I believe the black, purples and bright greens of the flowers would be amazingly beautiful with a tangerine background

The colors of tiger lilies would be pretty. Orange/Vermillion, dark crimson, black, cream and a touch of gold.
What a cool, sweet piece and looked like it was soo much fun to do!! For whatever reason (because these aren’t normally my colors) but I’ve gotten into loving pinks and oranges together and would love to see you do one in those colors!! I just think they would pop on a white canvas! Anyway… that’s my vote for your next color combo, pinks and oranges. Love this soo much my friend!! 🤗💕***oh and I absolutely adore the way Rinske’s name rolls off your tongue!! Literally replayed that part like 5 times!😂😂

If you use a spray varnish, you can use Krylon UV archival spray varnish. It comes it satin and gloss finish.
I think you should do coral, aqua and gray for a color combination.
Those blues are really pretty - what about some greens as in leaves or fern leaves :)
How about a colander pour and swipe or a reck you would have to decide I really loved the one you did on the round one I think it would cool to see you try it ❤ the colors your using that okra and 🌹 madder

This is so gorgeous. How did you end up sealing it? And I tried the impasto flowers/leaves because I love the look but I have a hard time getting it off of the knife

It's beautiful, how much water did you add to the paints to get that consistency?
I mostly use amsterdam brand or creative inspiration acrylic paint and water, ratio of about 40% - 50% water.

Molly, the basic rule for numbers in painting is 1, 3, 5 or more but never use 2, 4. I love it anyway, and you had room for 1 more. I think this is a really great idea and I love it.

After seeing the blooms, I had hoped you would have put a couple or so buds on the vines and larger leaves. If so, they would look just like morning glories. In fact, I've grown two varieties almost identical to the blooms and vines. I've got to try these myself! 😍 Beautiful!!!
Fabulous! I love the flowers so much. Color ideas. Violet and yellow flowers often grow together in nature, because the human eye finds it pleasing. If you haven't read Braiding Sweet grass, it has so much cool info on flowers

The flowers remind me of a side view of carnations. Lovely. Pink obviously is a favorite flower color, but orange and purple would be great. My favorite combination of colors in flowers, usually in roses, is yellow and deep reddish pink/magenta.
This is beautiful! I love the idea! I have a couple of larger canvases that I did a sandwich flip cup and the color hid waayyyy more than the smaller test canvases, I am going to try this over them with a clear base coat! I vote orange, pink, purple and yellow! That would look sooo pretty with the green vines!
I spiced up a flip cup with using Decoart extreme sheen as one color and cell activator in the bottom of the cup.... it cam out like I used satin enamels and it was so cool! If you're looking for something new to play with. I got SUCH a cool effect!

Flowers look amazing. I like the idea making leaves 3d, but from my perspective the 3d lends itself to make the stems/vines should be thicker with shading. I love your willingness to experiment especially online sharing with us.

Molly, I just love it and I did see the one you did a long time ago; I have it saved in my files somewhere. My question is how did you end up finishing? I would love to see that and if you weren’t doing the raised leaves would you normally just use the Liquitex gloss varnish? Thanks :-)
