I love Ghee, and make my butter from store bought or from cattle ranch bought milk. I let it warm, if refrigerated, then let it whisk on a standing mixer till the Buttermilk separates from the actual Butter. Then I let harden for 24 hours, then cook it down, removing milk fat as I go. But your method helps me skip a step, making it easier. Thank you so much! Yes, but there is too much cruelty involved in dairy industry. A cow or Buffalo gives milk maximum upto one year after delivering the calf. So they have to give birth every year and the process of artificial impregnation is also very painful. The calf is hardly fed mother's milk and if it's a male ,situation is even worse. Many dairy persons have admitted that they have seen the mothers crying even. These helpless ,voiceless creatures have been just turned into machines. They are given injections everyday to maximize the milk production which affects their bones also. We should use milk and it's products to the minimum if we cannot stop it altogether.
Butter is ghee they first churned curd to make butter which they heated to remove fat from solid and it formed ghee this is why ghee is different from freezed butter

Churning means in cycle. Clockwise and anticlockwise.Then clockwise and anticlockwise. Its real churning. In this video they r using wrong churning method. Churning ( bilona or mathna ) method must be right as per ayurvedic standards. In last one needs light fire to melt butter makhan.Not hard fire. Very sim fire or fire from cow dung (upla).Hard fast fire can destroy nutrients in ghee. So here churning method is wrong and fire is hard. Correct and make it in proper right way. Anyway good try..bhut not accurate.Consult expert ayurveda acharya to know real method.

They did whip the cultured cream (yogurt) and separated the butter out of the buttermilk. That’s what was cooked in the huge wok.
There are multiple ways to make ghee and even butter ghee also made from butter on heating
