i love this single so much. One of my biggest regrets was not meeting and talking to Adrian about From The Lions Mouth and All Fall Down as they were so much a soundtrack to my early 20s i still love and hold them dearly

This was at the back of New Dark Age on my digital copy of From the Lions Mouth! Didn't even notice till I got curious why New Dark Age was 10 minutes long haha
This was a 45 that WEA worked hard. Sadly , it didn't chart and " All Fall Down " was basically ignored. Like The Comsat Angels & The Chameleons great bands being mishandled by their labels.

Hi there. Not sure about the legal stuff, but this is a hidden track on Spotify. You can find it on the song 'New Dark Age' on From the Lion's Mouth. There is a bit of silence when New Dark Age' finishes but if you wait, then Hothouse will kick in. That's why New Dark Age' is like 10 minutes long on Spotify.
I got feelings pushing through, I tried to supress
Watch them grow on the walls of glass
I got sweat breaking out, I tried to contain
It's a savage roots of a growing pain
I found myself in a hothouse

It's time to get in, it's time to get inside
In a hothouse now I'm in the thick of it
With jungle vines that creep and spread
Feelings pushing through
Pushing through
Through, through, through, through you
And I found myself in the hothouse
I found myself in the hothouse
I found myself in the hothouse
In the hot, hot, in the hothouse

The lyrics are also not inferior, I'm not talking about this song now, but in principle about the texts as a whole.

La sofferta voce di Adrian Borland....Da brividi!
Una voce che scaturisce dal profondo dell'anima, come la sua chitarra. 🖤🖤🖤
This is my favourite version of the song. I love The Sound SO much!
it's a great version but I prefer BBC version ;)

Perfect
Poppy yet deep...I'm swooning!
Brilliant!! Would have given anything to hear this live, see them live!
i love both this and the bbc recordings version equally
Saw them performing this on some TV show back then in 1982,but can't remember which.
Great track!
And you all are a fantastic The Sound Tribute Band! 👏👏🖤🖤🖤

that is some serious fast and articulate playing.. the bass drums lead piano etc.... it almost sounds sped up

Elliot Wheeler Thank you! I'm covering this song and couldn't make out that line and for some reason it is isn't listed in the lyrics anywhere!
I work with the guy who wrote these lyrics so I'll ask
@@elliotwheeler4164 What?? Didn't Adrian Borland die in 1999 Elliot? Who wrote the lyrics then?

Fuck i wish this was on the "in the lions mouth" guess ima have to buy the single.
It is on some CD versions
@@josssmithyes and digital but i recently bought the vinyl.

Love this song! Intro reminds me a little of early REM/Simple Minds! Adrian's voice had a Jim Kerr/Bono feel!
I first heard the John Peel session version of this track, and therefore prefer it - give it a try?
still fucking relevant
@fancycraps Thanks, glad u like. Sadly, yes they are. Borland committed suicide in 1999 and Colvin died from AIDS in 1993.
For me is the hot house a warm bath i never come out.
listening at 1.25 speed. great song
Una linea di basso paurosa!
Where'd you get that cover art? Is it from the single? If so what does the back look like?
i keep getting back
Are there copyright issues or legal stuff preventing this from being on Spotify an only find live version which isn't as good as this
