nice vid! never been to big bear and was thinking of going this weekend! thanks for sharing all the tips! will definitely take your advice! tight lines
@beaginator8081 Thanks! Big Bear is definitely worth the drive up the hill for some fishing, early morning is usually best 🤙 Good Luck this weekend 🎣 tight lines 🎣
@@TravelsThroughNature I live like 30-45 from all these lakes, so far Gregory and silver wood are my fave but hitting this soon is my goal for the summer
Great vid! I was fishing a couple weekends ago at a spot right next to where you guys are fishing and got skunked. I was fishing from like 7AM - 9AM and didn't get any hits :( Was using a carolina rig with a 2-3 feet leader and mostly micetails... should I be casting closer to shore with a carolina setup? Really wanna catch some trouts the next time I go.
@tylerpark9687 We were using the same leader length on the Carolina rigs, but we were only casting 10-15 ft out. There is a deep drop off that isnt too far out. The slip bobbers were getting hit much more often than the carolina rigs. Maybe try slip bobber
@tylerpark9687 Change depths and switch up the baits if you're not getting hits. Reeling in slowly and stopping can help also. At big bear, we have the best luck right next to the bubbler (aerator) down by the dam.
Thank you for this video. I’ve never seen the fishing process and this was very helpful. One love man!
@eliastripp9505 🤙 Glad it can help! 🎣
Thank you for posting what rig, depth, and bait! Great videos overall! Keep it going!
@michaelnavarro5068 Thanks, Hope it can help others get on some fish 🤙🎣

@@beaginator8081 Gregory is one of our favorites as well, just tough for trout fishing this time of year.
Never heard of fishing PowerBait using a slip bobber, only used it with a Carolina Rig off the bottom. I guess you guys are visionaries ! 👍👍
@4acesjackdaniels775 The powerbait works great for slip bobbers, we just use really small pieces of bait on the hook. 🤙
Nice video! What time were you fishing ?
@kd5184 Trout were hitting early morning, we fished from 6am-1030am
@@TravelsThroughNature thanks bro, videos are dope keep it up!
