She has always sung this way. Her voice is in remarkable shape given that she has been singing so long. I don't hear the aging of the voice. Bartoli does this aria wonderfully, but VGs interpretation is different. Both are valid and wonderful.
Bruno Da Se's is far superior!!!!

It is probably the Peace Church of the Holy Trinity (Kościół Pokoju pw. Świętej Trójcy) in Świdnica in Poland where this concert was performed.

If you find Cecilia Bartoli a little strong and shrill on occasions, then Vivica is your ‘go to’ soprano.
I don't find this and I am sticking to Cecilia as my fave..having sad that..this is clearly skill of the highest level

Que si que si. Una tecnica precisa. Un timbre bellísimo. Pero la segunda parte es un desteozo de la obra. No hay una línea, un virtuosismo lógico. Una performance horrible.
Why does she sound so nasally and why does her jaw move so much? One of the first things they teach you in singing is to relax your jaw...
Maybe her jaw is just too relaxed that it moves as fast as the notes she sings?
I don't think a tensed jaw or muscle would be able to move , much less move that fast.
@@inceejigini9284 That is not corrective action for the production of the voice. The Jaw is to stay DOWN at ALL times, never moving all over the place as if the person has lost control of it.
She has a very fast vibrato in turn I think makes her throat and jaw move a lot quite fast it’s not lack of control I don’t think she just uses a heavy vibrato which sounds beautiful my grandmother sang like this and I asked her and she showed me it was from her vibrato cause her throat moved fast and a lot cause she would just hum in the car and her throat would move like crazy
Another attempt which didn't quite work out. Leave it to Bartoli...
The jarring lip and jaw movements resemble no other singer I’ve ever seen and can be truly off-putting.
