Today we're checking out Red Velvet for the fist time! Two videos in one, 'Psycho' and 'Monster'. I am so ready to see what all the hype is about. Red Velvet (Korean: 레드벨벳) is a South Korean girl group formed and managed by SM Entertainment. They originally debuted on August 1, 2014 with the digital single "Happiness" with the four-member line-up of Irene, Seulgi, Wendy and Joy. The fifth member, Yeri, joined the group in March 2015, following their first major release, Ice Cream Cake. Musically, the work of Red Velvet reflects their own group name: their predominantly-pop "red" side experiments occasionally with electronic, funk and hip hop, while their "velvet" side focuses on '90s-influenced R&B with elements of ballad and jazz.

(One of the best vocalists in K-Pop in General, and even maybe the best female vocalist of the 3rd Gen of K-Pop) She’s also one of the best all-rounders in kpop although she’s not as recognized as others🙃 she’s one of the best idols out there, she can literally do anything.
Not surprise because they are from SM, the agency with the best vocalist in this industry. Wendy, the platinum blonde is the BEST female vocalist of this generation. Her range is the widest in Kpop (4 octaves).
The fact is that internationally Red Velvet not as popular as 2 other girl groups from BIG3 (Blackpink, Twice, Red Velvet) because their music is sometimes hard to catch up and SM tends to change concepts every comeback. They do a lot of concept like I can't even explain how versatile they are. You might find some of it weird, creepy, aesthetic, girlcrush, cute or whatever it is, they're not afraid of trying something new which sets them apart from other groups. I really like Red Velvet because their concept always changes. There's no time to get bored.

just wanna said that as reveluv, we always feel emotional with this song when we listened to "hey now we'll be okay" part. because reveluv has suffered so much since wendy's accident and irene's controversy.. so red velvet like comforts us everytime they sang this part especially when they performed this on 1st jan of 2021 at smtown beyond live concerts because it's like a new beginning for red velvet and their fans since they've been on hiatus for a long time. we will really appreciated if you guys can support their comeback on august soon
