Just updated an old wolseley 6/90 which only had trafficators. I replaced the tiny single element tail lights with some double element lamp holders after drilling the backs bigger. Wired up the tail as usual then ran a pair of wires from the trafficators to each indicator element with a flasher unit on each. Being pre 71 it can have red indicators, and works very well. I may even add a relay to each side light circuit which cuts the power to that side light when the indicator power is on. Looks nice and original too.
Another great video with a very useful solution for the traveller. Unfortunately the late saloon I have has colored taillight glass only so I would need to fit a separate reversing light.
Hi, great video as always. You mention that you need a relay as your switch earths when reverse is selected. I have the Ford type gearbox with the simple switch, does that mean I don't need the relay? Just a case of picking up feed from the ignition on side of the fuse box? Thanks Ritch
I notice you also have a HIF SU and LCB fitted - I presume you've upgraded to a 1275cc engine? Mine has a Midget 1275 with SU HIF and LCB (Maniflow), albeit Midget gearbox, so not a 5-speed.@@jodiethemorrisminortraveller

Sounds a great mod 👍

Thanks! Unfortunately a bit more difficult on saloons. Could possibly be done with a 3D printer and a bit of ingenuity.

That is correct
@@jodiethemorrisminortraveller thanks for the super quick response
You’re welcome!
You’re welcome!
Very nice upgrade. What seats with headrests do you have fitted?
Thanks! The seats are from Newton Commercial.

@@FMFGUF yes, Marina 1275 with stage 2 head, fast road cam, LCB and race half shafts. Discs, vertical shocks, ARB and van wheels.
I want to fit a usb connection. Can you do a video.
I don’t have any plans to do one right now, but it’s pretty easy. Particularly if you have a car that’s already been converted to negative earth
@@jodiethemorrisminortraveller easy for you but I wouldn't know were to start😳
I’ll try to do a simple video if I have time, but it may not be very soon
