- Since Liu Bei helped us at Dingtao, Lu Bu comes to help him at Xu Province. Diaochan reveals she was the one that got Liu Bei to help and rejoins Lu Bu's army. Unfortunately Lu Bu seems to have a "only one female" rule so Lingqi doesn't appear at all in the hypothetical stages. She does however have unique dialogue in several of the stages if you play her there in free mode. The only reason I can think they left her out is Koei didn't want to explain how Lu Bu would have a wife and Diaochan as a concubine, since Lingqi isn't Diaochan's daughter. I'd have personally liked to see how they react to each other, but oh well.
This is very similar to the Shu Xu Province stage, except it doesn't go wrong at the end. I rather like Lu Bu in the hypothetical path, really feels reliable and like he's in charge rather than his usual "smash everything with extreme prejudice" self. Zhang Liao seems happier to be able to fight alongside Guan Yu now too, since they're not planning to deceive them later.

Lu Lingqi and Diaochan actually do speak to each other a little in Godseekers. Basically, Lu Lingqi acknowledges that it was only when her father was around Diaochan that he seemed to be happy when he was in Luoyang, but Lingqi still holds Diaochan's manipulations against her. This is only in a Path of Destiny event, though.

He only ever smiled when he was with you. I loved his face at those times. So I find that I don't hate you as much as one might expect.

Lu Lingqi: Yet, I still cannot forgive your deeds. I can only hope that the passage of time will heal these mixed feelings.

Warriors Orochi 4 shows that KT is going out of it's way to ensure that Lingqi and Diaochan never meet, though. Not to mention that in 9, Lingqi's story begins *after* Diaochan's ending. And Diaochan's ending is basically her deciding that she can't be involved in anything regarding the war anymore (and Lu Bu is surprisingly fine with that, it's especially surprising since this game has Lu Bu at his worst). So it's physically impossible for them to meet in 9.
They do meet in Godseekers ua-cam.com/video/vUUq6e3lwsY/v-deo.html but I guess you say it doesn't count since that spinoff
Unless you choose Free Mode with Lingqi and do Chapter 2 with Diaochan

This stage is really fun on Cao Cao's side since Lu Bu is super powered up and need to kill Liu Bei before Lu Bu engages with you or Cao Cao.

So THAT'S why Lu Lingqui isn't in the hypothetical stages?! Because Koei really couldn't think of developing a unique relationship between her and Dianchan? Forget the whole "SSX being Liu Bei's waifu" thing, THIS is the biggest mistake in DW8, PERIOD.

how did you get the unheavenly halberd? im so confused i tried to search how to get it but it only showed how to get the soul crusher and explosive halberd
MAD but y don't u temper to get better attributes and stats on ur weapon?
Because I don't need it and it's more fun to not overpower yourself so the game is still a challenge.
I feel like the liu bei/Diao Chan thing was a reference to Kessen 2 where they were together as well.
