are you out of your mind? I'll take Royal Trux over Mars f'ing Volta ANYDAY....I've seen both and there is no question in my mind. Did you ever even see Trux?
This is not weird at all. People always cared (cept for the haters that begrudged them becoming millionaires) but never went to live shows cuz trux usually cancelled or just wouldnt show up. Everybody knows this and obviously trux didnt care cuz they kept blowing shit off. With trux nothing is as it seems
There are exactly as they seem, if you think about it. And read your post carefully. I discovered this amazing band from watching High Fidelity. I am so happy I happened to be on a Lisa Bonet Search Party lol. Love the whole soundtrack. Inside Game is a masterpiece!
This is pretty bad. Its one thing to work new material live, but another to treat the show as a rehearsal. Come to think of it, its not even a good rehearsal. Nine minutes is all I've got for this, there's a life to get back to.

Great bit of footage, thanks for sharing. This almost feels like a documentary. Proper rock 'n' roll gold.
Amazing. That’s David Pajo on bass I think!!
I saw Royal trux at their height in a cool run down hotel that coupled as a small bar!
great video! thank you.
wow, thanks for posting this. saw them many times live... sucks they are no more.

funny you say Mars Volta as that's Jon Theodore on drums
@@jeremypickett6610 yep- we worked at the Hawk and Dove in DC as dishwashers when he tried out for the Trux
He now plays bass with Smashmouth.
Jen must have been hot in that jacket, but she sure looks hott in that jacket.
