Man. Why do I even bother setting appointments with government agencies? Seems like if I just hang out and film it long enough, the person im trying to get ahold of will come out to me.

Did you watch the video? The cops did an awesome job and didn't harass him or give him shit at all. Nothing in this video was illegal by either party. If you worked in a place that has become a target and someone outside is taking video and is looking sketchy for an extended period of time you'd want some investigation too. They cops knew his rights and let him exercise it while exercising their own rights.

The sign of a true professional is actually staying silent. If an auditor actually completes an audit without saying a word it’s an automatic sub from me because even if you don’t stay silent for every audit, I’ll know that you are actually capable of it. I think a lot of auditors actually physically can’t do it, their ego won’t let them. Too many auditors think they are too funny or smart to remain silent.

Dude, THAT is one of the BEST audit videos I've EVER seen. We always get the audits where "I don't have to identify myself", "i don't need permission to photograph/video anything I can see from a public space", etc etc etc. It is EQUALLY IMPORTANT to demonstrate that there is EXACTLY NO obligation to respond IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER to contact for lawful activity. EXCELLENT VIDEO SIR! RESPECT!

One of the best silent audits I've seen. The auditor kept the offending Officer silently engaged enough to document the cop's ration of BS. Later, while the cop was still expressing his ignorance, the auditor just turned and walked a way, dismissing the A-hole Clown..

Notice they don't ask him for ID. The agent who took his picture ran it through the national facial recognition database... they know who he is. I believe this is illegal in those states where you are not required to provide ID without a reasonable suspicion that you have committed, are committing, or about to commit a crime.

    • @BkGreg
      @BkGreg 4 роки тому +3

If they don't have reasonable articulable suspicion of a crime, they do not have the right to demand ID, in any state. The only difference is whether you have to ID, after being arrested, or after being detained. They must have facts that a crime is at foot to demand ID, in any state.

I enjoyed someone just silently asserting their constitutional rights to go about their lawful business in a public place in the face of the curiosity of law enforcement officials. I also have to salute the police for respecting this person's rights. Sure, they were annoying and had no reason to interfere with his business but overall it wasn't a bad performance on their part.

Look it's not illegal nor unconstitutional for the police to ask you questions. They cannot arrest you for not speaking. This officer didn't threaten to arrest this man nor did he state that he was detaining him. Overall a pass. In a perfect world they would completely acknowledge your 1st amendment rights but the cops were within their rights to simply ask questions. And this cop was professional he didn't cuss, nor did he raise his voice, he simply asked questions and expressed his concern.

Craig Christ I'm surprised the FBI had time to talk to a civilian seeing as how they have been so busy lately working for the Russians to undermine Americas confidence in its elections. Even in the old days, when J. Edgar Hoover was waltzing around in a dress acting like a sissy boy, the FBI wasn't helping the Russians destroy America. Look at them now. They are all traitors. We should be like Ukraine and fire all of those corrupt assholes and start new. The fucking FBI is nothing but a mouthpiece for Putin. Fucking assholes.

This is a tactic many cops use, luring you off of public property to arrest you for trespassing, or approaching them so they would then be in fear for their lives and shoot you. Then began the condescending questions "Do you need help? Are you deaf? Are you mentally ill? Its hot out here isn't it?", then the accusations of terrorism started flying.

wats funny is how all these "officials" get all pissed off about filming, yet u can go to Google Earth and find damn near every building in the world on there, not to mention the address.. the history.. and probably some, if not all the employees that work in these buildings.. all in the comfort of ur own home... so stupid these reactions are.

Time after time they have abused the authority given to them and now they wonder why people don't trust them any more. It is like dying and going to the pearly gates of heaven and discovering St. Peter smoking a crack pipe. Now many people scream to the Emporer, that he has on no clothes.

If they're doing something wrong then film it, by all means. But using up manpower so you can jerk off to your own videos at night is just annoying. Implying that my legal action can somehow force law enforcement to disregard their duties is logically wrong. Since they know what is and isn't permissible, they knew what he was doing shouldn't be their concern and should have gone about their business.

+Trenton Stone Do you truly and honestly believe the mindless meandering that comes from your mouth? Or are you one of those guys that watches Alex Jones and swallows it whole? Let me tell you something, if someone sat outside your kids school and videotaped them everyday you would not run up and hug him for supporting the constitution. You would be calling these guys and wondering why the hell someone is filming kids or a school. The world has changed. Terrorists want to bomb places here and you filming a highly secure building is going to elicit a response, which is exactly what is wanted by the douchebags that do this stuff. Nobody is saying you aren't allowed, but acting like an idiot and wasting their time accomplished absolutely nothing. Also it was nice of the camera man to put a federal agents license plate on blast. You obviously don't understand what being a real American is. I want to coexist with, not antagonize, the men and women that keep my family safe behind the scenes

This was a true show of badassness!!
I gotta say I felt so bad for the first cop. He kept his oath in spite of badgering you a bit without being forceful and seemed to keep those other units (who seemed to have a more hostile demeanor) off your back. But thinking about this from his point of view, *the fucking feds are on his ass to find out what you are doing there* and he obviously knows you're fine, but he desperately NEEDS some sort of statement he can give them... any statement XD
The poor guy kept thrashing around to find anything he could get out of you just to satisfy those feds and take the heat off his back.
It's videos like these that make me wish copwatch had like a ranking system for cops they come into contact with so that they could promote guys like him as an oathkeeper.

***** NOOOOO you shouldn't have and I was careful not to suggest that. I just meant more like, if there was a rating system on how stops were handled, this cop could get a positive rating. Even if you merely had like a few cards with shields on them with letters ranging from A+ (protected my constitutional rights in full) to F (used force to trample upon my rights) and a generic explaination of how you felt the stop went.
It could show him that you weren't trying to antagonize him and that you appreciate him being an oathkeeper, if you give him a little trinket like that (A/B card) showing that he passed this 1st amendment audit, right before leaving, and you wouldn't even have to speak XD. I think he would have laughed and actually thought of this as an awesome experience to share with his buddies that way rather than _'a run in with a non-speaking weirdo'._
Maybe you should try it and see what kind of response you get?

I’m always astounded at how frequently American cops insult law abiding citizens by addressing them as “bro”. I understand that it is lawful for cops to insult the public. But most police agencies require that their officers to treat the public with respect. So, they are violating their department policy.
