4:48 Sir, I have a question: According to you, at the surface of the superconductor, there is a current and therefore it gives rise to magnetic field and that can cancel out incoming varying magnetic field. However, if we change direction of incoming magnetic field (suppose previously the magnetic field was growing in intensity in n type and now incoming magnetic field is increasing in s type, i.e., you are bringing the s pole closer to the loop instead of the n pole), is it be still opossed by the same current that was present at the surface of the superconductor? I make zero money on these sales, I sell them for what they cost me. You should transfer the money to my PayPal account (see below). *Since we are friends, please mark "family and friends", PayPal will then not charge me a 5% fee* and please let me also know in PayPal your name and complete address and *which name I should use for my note in your book and on my picture.*
*For those of you who only want a signed copy of the picture of me, swinging from the pendulum,* with your name on it as well, it will cost you *$10 for 1 copy* (that includes postage). It's the same price for all countries. *You should send me on PayPal your complete address and the name you want me to write on the picture.* Please transfer the $12 to *my PayPal account which is* lewin-physics@physics.comcastbiz.net. *Keep in mind that you must first enter PayPal and then my account.*

I read up of some of the basic concepts for this problem. My attempt at the answer -
    1. There will be no current inside the superconducting wire
    2. Faraday's law doesnt apply inside, because for it to generate an induced emf - the spin of the electrons must be parallel. But the spin of electrons in a cooper pair in a superconductor are anti-parallel. So Faraday's law doesn't work inside the superconductor.. (until the Meissner state breaks down when the applied magnetic field is too strong).
    3. There is no b-field inside the superconductor. For the reason stated above - the opposite spin of electrons in a Cooper pair. Hence the quote "magnetism and superconductivity are natural enemies"
    4. Faraday's law only applies on the surface of the wire (where it acts as a perfect diamagnet and perfectly cancels the external field), as magnetic field decays exponentially inside the superconductor.

Thank you Dr. Lewin. So, Prof Verma missed the Meissner effect, which expels magnetic field from the body of the superconductor. I understand that, inside the coil, B=0 leading to E=0. And hence, current is 0.
But, what if we are just talking about regular conductor with 0 resistance? Will it also show same property? If not then, B and E should be non-zero, and current should be infinite. But there should be zero Ohmic heat loss, and only radiation loss should be there, due to moving charges. I would love to be corrected or, given a feedback on this. Thank you.
