There is actually a Horror movie that happens in . A newborn baby is born right from the womb kills the doctors that delivered him and basically everyone he comes in contact with... the effects are really gross . It's called "It's Alive" made in 1974 .
Would have made for a better movie really 😂 then enter blade to stop the Cullins child.

Then it basically turned into a pet semetary/vampire movie, the baby had to drink blood as well as milk, smelled like dead and flies surrounded her. Then the last scene is the mom breastfeeding when she suddenly feels a sharp pain looks to her breast and the baby and then says Grace started teething

I will admit that the wedding is gorgeous to look at. The setting and the theme are so nature looking that I would want a wedding like this.

She really had years to think that through plus advice from her editors but she stuck to the idea of a 17 year old boy becoming romantic soulmates with a baby.
I've seen so many people argue "But he's not sexually attracted to her as a baby! He'll just be like her big brother or best friend, and when she's older, if she feels the same, then they'll be in love!" But y'all, that shit is still CREEPY! Imagine Jacob watching Renesme grow up, from womb to adult, just waiting to see if she wants to bang one day. Even if they don't move to a real relationship, imagine being Renesme growing up with this guy hanging around her 24/7, every single day, being all protective and shit. What if Renesme grew up and fell in love with someone else? She's part vampire, and they seem to have a soul mate thing going on, too (also kinda messed up, but for different reasons). What if she met her vampire soul mate? Would Jacob just sit back and watch? The whole imprinting thing is just so creepy.

Really? I was just thinking how boring and borderline ill-fitting it was. At least from the front. After googling I see there's some detail in the back.
They didn't do a great job expressing the fact the Edward could have put Bella to "sleep" permanently by having sex with her. He has a superhuman amount of strength. The main reason he was pushing away her sexual advances. The bedroom scene was tame compared to the book. The book built up more drama around him being afraid of killing her on their wedding night.
Ever since Billy started watching these movies, all I could think of was "I can't wait to see him react to the sex scene" and of course as always, our man didn't disappoint! Whole reaction had me CRYINNNNNNNG 😂💀

@@auspicious6703 Imagine Jacob not killing the baby because she's cute and a baby, then finally realizing that since Edward and Bella have a kid, Bella's choice is final and deciding to stay away to respect their family, but at some point also reasoning with his pack to defend the vampires, using facts and Bella's free will as arguments instead of his attraction to the baby. Sounds healthy doesn't it. The author could have literally done that and given Jacob character growth, instead of wiping away any issues with this pedo ex machina.

If not for imprinting, Jacob would have murdered a new born infant. Jacob is a baby killer, by intention if not by deed. And the baby's parents never bring that up! If Meyer wanted a happy ending for the unholy trio, she could have had Jacob demonstrate some actual character development by letting go of Bella and his constant murderous anger and decide on his own to not be a baby killer

It's not so much that the show was that amazing, but twilight was the catalyst for the supernatural romance craze that followed after. Vampire Diaries, True Blood, Originals, all of that became insanely popular following the success of Twilight. Not to mention its target audience were preteen girls with a very all or nothing, obsessive approach to love. We know better now 😅
Which is weird. Because the Sookie Stackhouse books started in 2001 and the Vampire Diaries books were in the 90s. The Anita Blake series started in the 90s too. So it is weird they picked it for adaptation.
I agree to a point with what you're saying. But, it was more that they brought supernatural romances to the forefront, most of the books that the above shows were based off came out long before this series. The Vampire Diaries books, for one, originally came out in the 90s and the True Blood (Sookie Stackhouse) book series started in the early 2000s.

Vampires couldn’t procreate. They were dead. But seeing as how men can perform at any age, and she was human, it was an abnormal situation. Male human-vampire female, or both vampire partnership wouldn’t work to having a baby.
Vampires don't have any blood flow, so how could he...you know and how does his swimmers move without blood flowing inside of him?

Inside her body was Edwards venom spreading thru her system, but because they gave her morphine it numbed her outsides but not her insides. So even tho she looks still to us, the venom (which feels like burning) is felt by her internally. Hence her spazzing out in the scene.
Also in the book, we know Bella is clumsy asf. So her walking down the aisle and being all jittery and asking Charlie to not let her fall, is supposed to be then highlighted by the fact that once she saw Edward down the aisle, everything within her become right and instead of thinking she's gonna fall she's able to walk tall, confident and comfortable to him. The book lays this out better than the scene does.

Each movie isn't a year lol At the beginning of twilight she was 17 years old. Came in the middle of the school year. Beginning of New Moon she turns 18 which is her senior year of school. They get married after graduation in the Summer like Aug. So for all four books/5 movies it only covers a year and a half.
Lol and Edward was gone for at least 7 months within that year and a half .

It explains the imprinting so much better in the books. The way Jacob describes it to Bella is "it's not like a love at first sight, really. It's more like gravity moves. Suddenly, it's not the Earth holding you here anymore, she does. You become whatever she needs you to be, whether that's a protector, or a lover or a friend."
It's an involuntary thing and how the Quileute shape-shifters (wolves) find their soulmates. So Jacob really didn't have a choice and it's not a sexual thing. I know it sounds weird but he's definitely not a pedo. Also, fun fact, Stephenie Meyer (the author of the books) was among the guests at the wedding. You can see her as Bella was walking down the aisle. She was the dark haired lady wearing a pink floral print dress.
I was straight up bored the first time I saw the wedding.
But I did get a good laugh in when Emmett and Charlie gave their speeches 😂
I love Rosalie so much! She so nurturing and supportive and loving with Bella when she's pregnant.

The reaction to the sex scene makes this whole serie worth it. For some reason I thought about that scene at the end of vice versa, when Riley meets a boy and all the boy's emotions are running and screaming in total panic. That's what were going on in Billy's had during the sex scenes.

Leah Clearwater was legit the strong female protagonist Bella wasn't. Even reading the books I was like "why aren't we focusing more on Leah?" Or anyone for that matter. One of the most baffling things about Twilight is that Bella and Edward are the most boring characters in it. Literally every vampire has a much more compelling backstory.

I saw this one and part 2 in theatres with my year group at boarding school. At the end of the year we are allowed to do activities on weeknights but we all have to do them. So imagine 52 15 year old girls, very few whom took these movies seriously, having a grand old time in the cinema. It was absolutely the best way to watch these films.

This movie series is SO MESSY why is Jacob falling in love with someone who is two hours old I'm DISTURBED. Nothing tops the reaction to the sex scene though when you said "he's penetrating her!" I had to laugh like a hyena.

The reason Bella is such a load of nothing is because she's a blank slate for young women to project themselves onto. If you want to do a strong young woman in a love triangle but with actual plot and characterization I cannot recommend The Hunger Games enough #bingers
