A couple of items came to my notice. Isn't the procedure under ASTM stating that the flash testing start at 30 degrees f. under the expected flash and that the test should be done every two degrees after that? That flash of 188 was high for what appeared to be a diesel product. Was it diesel?
Hey I just started at a chemical company and we're trying to get a FPT of the same model up and running. What kind of tubing did you use for your gas line connection? It seems much more elegant than anything I've come up with so far.
First think u have to be under the hood Second u need to work in dark place so u can see the flash, the way u doing is kinda dangerous ..... this is not that eazy test man,,, i run every day more than 20 sampels ..your tester us brand new i like it:) Anyway be careful!!
