I had absolutely no idea boiled peanuts were a thing, so that's already a net gain from this walkthrough
EDIT: I also learned that it is vital to accept boiled peanuts from strangers because then you gain a dialog option that you can give those same boiled peanuts to other people, which I never knew I needed
