These would be quite good if you could record video in horizontal. I am mostly interested these for the coming AI features and I think that would work better with horizontal images.
yeah horizontal videos would be cool, hopefully it’s something they can add in a future firmware update but tbh I don’t think they will 😂 they’ll probs wait till the next generation… and yes those AI features are gonna take them to the next level 🚀
But the main point is to format for live streaming for Instagram so it's basically meant for social media, I love them, there is no need for horizontal, they are all around incredible, especially the audio, but having only vertical is not an issue at all to me
Cool vid, i just got a pair as gift and been viewing the dozen videos about em. So fsr i like them even with the as many refered to as flaws. Vertical view 60sec clips camera on one side, they are pretty cool. Cant wait to get more content and use out of em. Look forward to a future video on this.
I love this review! I also don’t understand why they don’t have the option to flip the camera to film in letterbox not up n down crap. I hate when I see videos being filmed like that. A tv or computer screen isn’t like that is it. Its letterbox. Same goes for if you’re watching a movie from your phone. Unless it’s Instagram or something. But all other movies are done properly. Not held up n down. So really hope they change that or at least add the option to flip the recording/taking photos. I’ve actually been wearing proscription glasses since I was 7 and have had transition lenses for probably the last 20+ years. I hope they have the option to have that with polarisation also. My normal rayban sunnies are that but aren’t proscription and I also noticed they are made in Italy! The meta ones are mane in China 🤨🤷♂️ now to work out what size I need to get though. They only have one size to try out in the store close to me. They felt ok but not sure though. It’s allot of money to spend on something ya gonna be wearing all day everyday
The circular glasses on you doesn't remind me of Elton John but I just think they are a bit out of style. That being said I'm a nerd so what would I know about style?
Great vid bro… what are the glasses like with wearing a hat? I literally wear hats all day every day lol and wondered whether the peak compromised pictures/ videos at all? Thanks and keep up the great work!
thanks man 😎 sometimes when I wear a hat with the glasses on the hat appears in the top of the shot but I’ve learnt that if I point the hat up slightly it just about cuts it off most of the time so definitely do some tests to see if it’s appears in the shot and if u need to adjust it
Amazing.James Loxton meets James Bond😀. Sky's the limit with the potential for this piece of gadget. Can you imagine If/When a company like DJI enter the game ..WOW. At the moment the quality of footage especially in low light is just not good enough. Way too much juddering and light flicker. The future's bright,the future is Sunglasses 😎 I think they are pronounced........ WAY-FAIR-AH.

The only thing that the next model will do is 4k and waterproof otherwise they are amazing

The lack of waterproofing sucks as I brought them for beach time

Do you have the transition lenses? If you do, how dark are they outside?? I just ordered one for playing golf
I don’t have the transitions but from what I’ve seen on other videos they seem to go reasonably dark
