Hello. This dish has been passed down since ancient times. Normally, you would add salt when making rice balls, but since takana is salted, there is no need to add salt. It is sometimes sold at supermarkets and convenience stores in Kumamoto. In addition to takana onigiri, takana rice is also famous. I will introduce it in the next video. Takana rice onigiri is also often sold. Please try it because it is very delicious.
*We use cooking utensils found in Japanese households and basic seasonings. This is because there are only a limited number of Japanese seasonings available around the world. We also use the world-wide standard g.
We wash the cutting board each time we use it. We have long nails because of ingrown nails.
[Ingredients] 2 pieces
Rice 200g
Salted takana leaves 50g
Stir-fried takana 40g
*Originally, we use Kintoki carrots, but since they are difficult to obtain, we use regular carrots.
How to make it
1. Wet your hands with water, take half the rice and lightly roll it into a ball.
2. Press the center to make it flat.
3. Put the stir-fried takana in and wrap it up with a ball.
4. Wrap the rice in the takana leaves and it's done.
*Translation function is used.
Also, since it is written in a language that is easy to translate, some technical terms such as cutting methods and heat control are not used.
