I honestly would recommend staying in the Miami area as majority of the fetes will be held there as well(if attending). Wynwood, Downtown Miami, Midtown, Kendall & Doral are popular & ideal. Wynwood & Midtown Miami being my top as you'll be close to expressways, easy to navigate around and you can squeeze in some extra fun for your trip as those areas are bustling & walkable! If you do want a midway point between both J'ouvert & parade, Hollywood & Fort Lauderdale would be a perfect medium. ❤ Side note: there is a shuttle service available if you will be staying in Miami that can take you to J'ouvert. They pick up from the fairgrounds on Saturday/Jouvert Day and drop off at Broward Regional Park. If you're open to this option, stay updated on SFCBLA IG for info on times & availability.
@@84tahlia Hey! I'd personally recommend a 5a, 6a or 7am appt. This gives you enough time to rest and allow up to 2+ hours for your appt. You or the artist may run behind, so you want to leave wiggle room to get back to hotel/home to get dressed for the road after your appt. If you can manage, some girlies take the 3am and 4am appts to get it out of the way then prop themselves up to go back to sleep. Lol.
@@84tahlia As soon as your preferred artist books open online, book quickly! All the favorable times get booked 1st and most MUAs for Carnival won't overbook, so slots are limited.
Great commentary on the Carnival ❤
@@beverlywight7158 Thank you!
I love your personality! I’m playing for the first time this year with savage mas and I can’t wait
Thank you hun! ☺️
You'll have a great time! Savage's costumes are gorgeous. 😍
Which section did you choose? 👀
Hotel recommendations between the two venues? I learned that the jouvert is one way, but the parade is the other direction.

What time do you recommend booking makeup appointments?
