I think different from this, sunil was typecasted into comedy roles onlt but maryada ramana iconic film made him break out and totally changed his image as comedian only, and now he is getting roles as villain also, i think it is because he was ready to experiment we can see sunil as the complete actor he is, before most film with even best comedian like vadivelu got flop but nowadays all of us see comedians as also capable actors, maryada ramana was also the film which proved ssr can make film without over the top heros and mass movies and make it such a good movie.

Sunil looks in maryada ramanna and kaleja are the best. Unfortunately Sunil didn't work on that, I am not talking about his physique talking about face rajamouli and couple of other directors captured that properly. Now he is doing with sukumar and Shankar. His looks in pushpa are nice bright future ahead.
Last but not the least it happened every single hero. Work with rajamouli is luck 🤞, you have to carry that luck by selecting best projects. I think you are generalized that differently. Anyway you grab attention great
