I think Lone Terror should be Ground/Fighting instead of the Flying type because cassowaries are flightless and Dodrio doesn't have big wings either. Aw man, your paradox Mienshao is incredibly similar to my paradox Cacturne, Snaring Vine. It also has long arms but it’s based on a carnivorous plant that complements the nocturnal nature of regular Cacturne.
Loving these, and saw a few of em on stream! Really love how you rendered out Iron Saw too. Also enjoyed Iron Drive's design as well! Chat asked me to do something like a smart car from the future but I couldn't make it work (gave up a bit too quickly lmao) but I think condensing in the form and using Carkoal was the obvious choice (I was trying to do it with Revaroom). Now I feel inspired to try it again!
A lot of people complain about how the paradox names are uncreative, but they've never seen the definitions of the words that make up the scientific names of real animals. Like some dude thousands of years ago saw an octopus and thought "Well, that thing only has a head, and feet, I'mma call it head foot" and now we say cephalopod unironically.
Alternate dodrio design: Have two large wings stretching up and out next to it with elbows the same colour as its head with claws that resemble the same shape as the beak, sticking out to mimic having three heads.
i don’t know if this has been said before but i would like it better if you placed the final creation together with the evolution line so that we can see how it compares. Great Video btw!

Here's something I thought would be cool. Paradox Rhyhorn based off a Paraceratherium. it would be huge and slow, big HP and defense stats. For those of who don't know what it is, it's a rhino relative that is the largest known land mammal.
yknow i actually had an idea some time ago for a cassowary poke that would have been a progenitor to doduo/drio and the lore would suggest that having such derpy malformed offspring was a punishment by arceus itself for its aggressive, destructive behaviour
More to the concept of convergent evolution - there might be something to do with Dodrio (or Hydreigon) and a hydra - not the dragon of myth, but Hydra Vulgaris, the tiny freshwater polyp that is (probably) immortal
iron saw is genuinely one of the best fakemons i’ve ever seen. has all the modern gamefreak motifs that make it look authentic, could literally see it being real. also the stats and typing are interesting, depending on its movepool it could be really strong as a utility mixed attacker
You could have draw two twigs or feathers on Dodrio's paradox shoulders that resembles the other heads of modern Dodrio, like a nod that it should have three heads instead of one.
Here’s a cool idea for a paradox Pokemon it will be a past and future form of the legendary dragon Zekrom so here are the names for them. Past Form Zekrom will be called Draconic Thunder and it will be a ancient quadrupedal form of Zekrom that has paradox cutiefly flying around it, its horn will be much more bigger and the wings will be more like hands on its back that it can use to eat things along with its tail looking more primordial compared to modern day Zekrom. Future Form Zekrom will be called Iron Ideals and it will be a Zekrom with Cybernetic upgrades making it a cyborg including it will be able to turn its hands into lasers and its wings will look normal when closes but when opened and ready for battle it will have thunder bursting from its wings to show its power along with its tail now being a futuristic engine that is connected by wires to reference Black Kyurem in a way. And these are my ideas for two paradox forms for Zekrom I hope you will one day try to draw out these desigh ideas and if you do they will be the coolest things I have seen. Ps I love the content you do and hope you continue it. Side note Iron Ideals will have a futuristic knight’s helmet on its head to cover its face just to make it more mysterious.
I idea I had for a future paradox is Beheyem, where it would ditch the trench coat look but have an ability similiar to zoruark's illusion. Where it pretends to be other pokemon, and would be found in the wild imitating those pokemon. Though it wouldn't really be able to have the same ability as the other future paradox.
only one thing i noticed with paradox forms: future forms are supposed to be smaller than the pokemon they're based on, where past forms are supposed to be bigger and have its shiny colors more or less match the colors from the modern pokemon
This is awesome! One thing though is with lone terror, if I didn't know it was a past form if dodrio I would never guess that. It looks super cool, but more like it's own pokemon than a special form
Cubone/Marowak and/or Vullaby/Mandibuzz. They are both bone pokemon, and Mandibuzz will attack Cubone, and Marowak with will attack Mandibuzz(according to the Dex entries) Past Cubone- Oversized Skull/Bone(Ground/Ghost) Future Marowak- Skull becomes more of a "Mech Helment" and it's bone becomes more of a "mech hammer". Iron Hammer, easy enough(Ground/Fire) Typings matches the two Marowak forms. Ground, Ghost/Fire. Past Mandibuzz- bigger Bone, Longer neck and metallic beak. (Flying/Steel) Future Vullaby- its "diaper skull" becomes more mechanical and lights up blue/red and its top lights up or its burning idk lol. Iron Torch.(Dark/Fire) Those are just thoughts.
Lone Terror is so awesome! Iron Saws progression to futuristic construction worker is 100% how I'd imagine a bibarel robot!. Ooo Twisted Vines is so pretty. The description for Iron Drive is so interesting! Crushing Plush the name is amazing I definitely like him more than og bewear!
Past Paradox form idea: Sturdy Stove. A Rock/Dragon type. This Pokemon is described to have steam flow out of its head and tail when it is irate. It is said that this Pokemon was used to light campfires in the bronze age because it could breathe thick flames out of its hollow throat. Try to guess what Pokemon this is by replying! This is honestly one of my best ideas yet! It's a shame I can't share the actual drawing...
If I’m honest most of these aren’t really paradox Pokémon as paradox forms 1 don’t change the Pokémon’s design that much they are either more monstrous in the case of “past” Pokémon or robots in the case of “future” Pokémon for example dodrio would still have three head, carcoal would still resemble a minecart and mienshao wouldn’t become a plant because that changes it’s aesthetic too much. Also the paradox Bibarel would probably be very similar in design to paradox delibird only one part would glow with energy and the rest of its body would just be a mechanical version of normal Bibarel. The only part of crushing plush that needs changing is putting it’s colours back to normal. Anyone who wants to start an argument with me ask yourself this first: would these designs fit in with the official paradox Pokémon designs? If the answer is no please don’t bother
Hey Ron! Love the designs, but I do have a little suggestion. When making paradox Pokémon (if you ever do this again), the whole Scarlet book/Violet book entries thing is something that would be nice to have be consistent. I know fakémon designers tend to follow the format of the game they played (and most seem to have played violet, which is fine), but I personally find it kind of jarring to have the future paradoxes talk about the Violet book, but the past paradoxes don’t talk about the Scarlet book. Just bugs me a little.
Huh. Gen 1 IS about genetics. People say Gen 1 has no theme, but themes/tones of generations are usually set by the legendaries. What’s the main legendary of Gen 1? A clone of the ancestor of all Pokémon made using modern genealogy
I think your Minshaun paradox don't fill like... a paradox pokemon!🤔 It's more like a regional form actually. Not trying to critic you (not negatively at least because like or not that is a critic), but i think you should give him a bigger neck and do like the other's paradox pokemon and give him more dinosaur or pre-historic fictures to it! And Iron Drive should be more like Carkoal and less like, a literal car. You should check Bumble Bee from the classic transformer series, right on the first episode to have an idea, just sujestions. I not saying they are bad, they just don't quite resemble they pokemon they should!
Hey Ron, So I have some Ideas for the other Legendary Beasts and Swords of Justice due to Suicune getting "Walking Wake" and Virizion getting "Iron Leaves" in Scarlet and Violet respectively, so I made up some names for Past versions of Entei and Raikou and Future versions of Cobalion and Terrakion... They are: Thunderous Roar - The Past Version of Raikou and its Electric/Ground Majestic Pyre - The Past Version of Entei and its Fire/Steel Iron Patroit - The Future Version of Cobalion and its Fighting/Dark Iron Stronghold - The Future Version of Terrakion and its Ground/Steel Would absolutely love to see these become A Real thing some day! Also Imagine catching "Iron Drive" and being able to Ride inside it XD
Liked the video, but I have a few nitpicks I want to share: 1. The stats you gave some of them feel off. Past paradox Pokémon have odd numbered base stats, and future Pokémon have even numbered base stats, but only iron drive follows this pattern. Also, their stat spreads feels too generic. Almost all stats end in 5 or 0 whereas the paradox Pokémon in game have a mix of numbers to make them seem more off. 2. Iron drive doesn’t really look like a futuristic form of carkol. The main reason for this is because of the shape. Most of the paradox forms have the same shape as their modern equivalent. Even slither wing, the most dissimilar, keeps the look of a volcarona by having its tail stick up, giving it the silhouette of a wingless volcarona. There is nothing connecting iron drive and carkol other than the smile(an unremarkable aspect of carkol’s design) and the colors. I think that turning it into a car could work, you could turn it into a compact car for example, or turn it into a pickup truck and you could’ve put it’s pile of coal into the back. The design isn’t helped by how their is little that makes it seem like a Pokémon at all. 3. There are less future Pokémon than past Pokémon. Hopefully this is remedied if you make another one of these. And just to clarify, I didn’t hate the video. In fact, the fakemon content is some of my favorite stuff on this channel. I just had a few complaints and wanted to voice them.
I think for Dotrio I would have thought about the ancestor of the dodo bird being able to fly. I like that you made it only one head but I would have made it more of a flying bird than a cassowary.
There is also a series titled Meteor Beasts which has characters that have various prehistoric animals that went extinct long ago. Our main characters, Larry, Tom, Amelie and Roxxie find the right prehistoric animals for them, an eohippus, a plesiosaur, a dunkleosteus and eurypterus, who become their companion who help them find more recruitees in order to defeat Meteoriorus, the mad scientist that wants to make prehistoric hybrid animals to destroy the world. They also give their reqruitees the right prehistoric animals for the job, fullfiling the prophecy prehistoric animals that would appear in the series: invertebrates, fishes and amphibians: trilobite anomalocaris aegirocassis wivaxia hallucigenia hurdia ammonite orthocones tully monster megarachne opabinia arthropleura haplophrentis jacutolitus dunkleosteus leedsychtis xiphactinus pachycormus pteraspis thelodontis anaspis pituariaspis cephalaspis acanthopleurus nochelaspis nerepisacanthus chalcidicthys eusthenoptenor gillicus diplocaulus platyoposaurus reptiles: tyranosaurus brachiosaurus triceratops stegosaurus ankylosaurus titanosaurus therizinosaurus argentinosaurus calamosaurus elasmosaurus metryorinchus dakosaurus pistosaurus pachycephalosaurus liopleurodon kronosaurus paracephalosaurus tylosaurus shonisaurus mosasaurus mauriciosaurus centrosaurus oviraptor pegomastax shastasaurus moanasaurus spinosaurus taniwhasaurus dolicorhynchops ancient beasts: wooly mamooth smilodon paraceratherium mesodma chalicotherium moropus dinofelis thylacosmilus nimravus barbourofelis simbakubwa ekorus megalictis American cheetah dire wolf sarkastodon pakicetus basillosaurus Malagasy aardvark cladisictis didymictis eremotherium malleodectes didelphodon hulitherium zygophyseter lyviathan sivatherium discokeryx decanotherium moeritherium daedon macrauchenia toxodon hyenodon indohyus oxyena patrofelis
Something that would have been cool... Iron Drive could have small bits of coal floating inside of it, like a small lava lamp! And maybe give it a Flying type move!
try making alternate future paradox pokemon where instead of them just becoming a machine they change biologically similar to how the past paradox pokemon are
You changed the colors of Twisted Vines to make it further from Sceptile, but in doing so you did give it almost the exact color pallet of Meowscarada…
These designs honestly highlight how much, at least in my opinion, many of the real Paradox Pokémon feel like missed potential. I'm absolutely in love with the idea of alt-history versions of Pokémon, but the designs Game Freak went with just aren't enough - some of the Scarlet Paradoxes look too similar to the originals (Scream Tail and Flutter Mane) and most of the Violet Paradoxes have the bare-minimum changes to make them look "robotic" (Iron Jugulis and Iron Leaves are by far the worst offenders). The Raidons are what I believe all the other Paradox Pokémon should've been: standing on their own as unique-enough designs while having bits that hint towards the Pokémon they're based off while not coming off as overly blatant.
I can most definitely imagine Crushing Plush exactly how you described. Entering Area Zero would be like playing a horror game 😂

Fun fact: all ancient Paradox Pokémon have all odd stats and vice versa for future paradox Pokemon.
I think your Minshaun paradox don't fill like... a paradox pokemon!🤔
It's more like a regional form actually.
They are:
Thunderous Roar - The Past Version of Raikou and its Electric/Ground
Majestic Pyre - The Past Version of Entei and its Fire/Steel
Iron Patroit - The Future Version of Cobalion and its Fighting/Dark
Iron Stronghold - The Future Version of Terrakion and its Ground/Steel
Would absolutely love to see these become A Real thing some day! Also Imagine catching "Iron Drive" and being able to Ride inside it XD
Liked the video, but I have a few nitpicks I want to share:
I liked your early sketches of twisted vines more then the final design
I think for Dotrio I would have thought about the ancestor of the dodo bird being able to fly. I like that you made it only one head but I would have made it more of a flying bird than a cassowary.
Iron saw is UNBELIEVABLY good.
Long terror reminds me of wyren birds in monster hunter I love that
There is also a series titled Meteor Beasts which has characters that have various prehistoric animals that went extinct long ago. Crushing plush is 10/10. i really like iron saw too!
Something that would have been cool...
Iron Drive could have small bits of coal floating inside of it, like a small lava lamp!
And maybe give it a Flying type move!
All paradox past forms have raptor like Dino tails for the future :)
try making alternate future paradox pokemon where instead of them just becoming a machine they change biologically similar to how the past paradox pokemon are
Bibarels supporting the wrong type of government with that gesture 🤣🤣
I think Lone Terror looks far too different from Dodrio for a Paradox form, at least based on precedent set by GameFreak.
Iron Saw was really clever
If you showed me Lone Terror on its own with no context, I don't think I would guess in a hundred years that it was supposed to be a version of dodrio
I have made my own pepper fakemon and its ability and item for evolution or form change is easy to get and switches its typing.
Jonathan here! I was caught by surprise
I cannot believe it…. THIS WAS AMAZING!! My fav is definitely the bibarel paradox. I can see that happening. HALT. CONSTRUCTION!!
i think water fighting could also work for iron saw
9:55 allright ladds get in we goin to Disneyland 😎
Iron Chariot would’ve been an awesome name
Iron drive, iron power
We stay hungry, iron devour
You changed the colors of Twisted Vines to make it further from Sceptile, but in doing so you did give it almost the exact color pallet of Meowscarada…
I especially love the last two!
Ooh very cool, all of them
THERE MULTIPLE HEADS ARE NATURAL.
I got a good name for Crushing Plush's baby form: Bash Plushie.
Iron Saw looks so badass ✊🏻💛
You actually guessed my name.
