- Hey Everyone,
Due to a lot of requests for English version of this video, i have dubbed
this video in Enlish laguage for English speaking audience.
I have not lip-synced the dub so please bear with me on that
but i have covered all the information from the original video here in English.
Recently i have been facing issues making payment to Distrokid using debit and credit card and so was unable to make any new releases. Found out there are huge number of people from India facing the same issue so i though of making a video about possible solutions to deal with this situation.

Facing the same issue. How can I cancel the membership from Destrokid ?
You can open your account profile from top right corner of the screen in account settings there is an option called delete account.
But I'd suggest you send an email to Distrokid asking for the refund first if you very recently bought the membership and tell them you are unable to avail their service anymore hence kindly refund my membership fee.

Brother, in my account I couldn't find option of "delete account" rather it has cancel membership.
@@KashReyoungOfficial you can go for cancel membership then. I guess they must have updated their website with small word changes. But i believe cancel membership should work exactly the same way.

just buy 25 jan distrokit but same issue but not solved this what to do?
Since people from India are unable to pay Distrokid for any service they provide after we bought the membership, i suggest you send an email to Distrokid and ask for refund of your membership fees. Because as Distributor Distrokid is unable to do one main thing Distribution for which the membership was taken. Because you still won't be able to release anything via Distrokid due to issue of payment in India.
Buy subscription for another distribution service like Tunecore, belive, amuse etc.
If you have some already released tracks on Distrokid you will need to move them to another Distributor.
Step by step guide for that can be found in the video that i mentioned in Description.

Tunecore is the worst distributor, they don't bother to release any song from Indian artists sighting any irrelevant queries 😡

@@anuragtheraven5735 i understand the pain bro...if not today tomorrow you would face the same problem. It's not about us it's the ignorance of Distrokid which does not support Indian financial system.

And can i transfer the distributor without losing my songs and streams ?
@@anuragtheraven5735 you will have to write to Distrokid. it is a 50-50 chance but you have to keep asking these folks persistently
