- Progress check of my currently unnamed incantation mod as a counterpart to 101 Sorceries. No idea when the release will be, but I knew I wanted to make this public before the DLC arrives since it will almost certainly give me new features to play around with.
It'll release eventually. I'm sure.

I was so happy when I heard this and I am glad somebody else did too. Such a great touch to add to something. Details, big or small, make such a difference and impact. Hades 2 coming soon too. Idk the release date, but.. I saw Maximillian mention it and I am fucking stoked. Need more HADES. If ya ain’t played Bastian, I recommend it. All of their games are bangers, sound track, gameplay, and all. SGG, consistent homeruns. Transistor was another great one.

I've always been more into faith when i started these games and my faith builds were never complete until very end game (or even post game DS1 lol)

It's largely the reason why faith even though great is pretty odd to rely on early game. You have the early fire spells, beast sling and maybe a single dragon spell, the black flame and lightning spear or strike. If you know where all those are. Which means if you take only vendor you have just the basic flame cacth and fireball maybe the black flame spells. For most of the midgame playthrough unless you know exactly what to do.
Rain of Armaments is so cool. I spent my whole first playthrough looking for the spells Margit, and then Morgot was using. Needless to say, when I found out they didn't exist, I was so bummed lmfao.
Praying we get some spells of that flavor in the DLC

I love how you name those Spells too ! My favourite in terms or visuals, effect and name is Garden of the Half-Rotted. I can see this spell being Finlay’s way of fending off enemies as she was carrying Melania

This is actually so fucking cool. Like the incants not only being visually interesting but also thematically in line with things in the game is so cool. Also just like the showcase of all the awsome visuals you can make in ER is amazing. Cannot wait for the full release
Kinda wish I could pair this with Convergence for the absolute maximum amount of magic possible, but honestly this just feels like it’d warrant its own playthrough with the unique spells.
Also the Nokron Firing Line is great
Neat. Runic Blade now anoys me it isn't in the base game. Hope it has the Sacred Blade 'perma kill skeletons' effect, or their is another more expensive version of the spell that does. Would like to have an option for that effect besides an ash and a high investment invocation.

Honestly, with the amount of incredible mods you've made, I'd love to see you do a sort of tutorial or just showcase of your process for creating mods- what tools you use, your workflow, ect.
I just want a mod that adds magic with high amounts of projectiles that do insane damage.
Fuck balancing, I just want to feel the powertrip of an archmage that's able to bend reality itself

After the DLC disappointed me with the additions to crucible incantations, I am really looking foward to what you're cooking. The few we have in the base game are among my favorites. Nothing like shouldercharging an enemy as the world's strongest quarterback and seeing them helplessly launch into the air.

This really just makes me wish more than anything than there was a mod that added a radial menu to switch between your equipped incants/spells easier
I like how frozen lightning glaive teleports but doesn’t float, honestly, it reminds me of Radagon’s teleport spells
The fact that the very second incantation in this video is a combo spell could not be a better sign towards this just being the coolest magic mod ever
If you plan to use DLC assets after the release, this will likely be my favorite Elden Ring mod ever made, forever.

For greyll’s scourge (I think that’s the name) it’s better if you changed the lighting with flame since that’s what he shoots at you, also you can be creative with it like maybe making it a 360° flame breath attack that will do nice damage but the damage reduces the further it gets, and for order of kin or whatever, it’s better if you make it shoot three of those balls and if you charge it you will get 4-6

I’m so excited for this especially since we have brand new animations from the dlc to use as a base, will definitely use this along with the sorcery counterpart. Although I’m curious if this will have candy comparability issues with other large Elden ring mods such as the garden of eyes and overhaul and convergence
i really hope you combine this and your sorcery mod so we can have a total magic overhaul
Finally, a mod other than Convergence that'll get me to try out actually doing a caster build!
Im enjoying these spells because of the creativity and how different portions of the spells have different properties rather than just "do it again," aoc tail swipe is one of my favorite spells because of this

Good way to balance the lightning balls' number of projectiles might be to have it only able to have one group at a time active, similar to how the phalanx spells work.
March of the Formless Horde sounds really good for resetting frostbite.
Holy beans, I remember making joke comments on the spell overhaul videos to the tune of "Now do an Incantations mod, you coward. I know you won't.", but didn't think he'd actually do it. As a hardcore Faith player this makes me very happy. Mad props to you, Rusty.
Can you make some combo spells? I think it would be really cool to have certain spells interact differently when you used a different spell right before it, this would add more thought and variations in combat. I love the content keep it man
Although it might be a little awkward to swap spells to perform combos so I feel that might need a little rework

Hope a way to add without replacing is found so we can release all 200 rustybrand spells to obliterate bosses
for the Garden of The Half Rotted spell, you could have it do a plunge like the other malenia spell, or if you could alter the water fowl dance starting plunge to fit with what malenia does to activate it in the fight.
Hope you have an ash of war overhaul mod written down on an idea list somewhere, there are a lot of good things that could come with that. Ideally, if you happen to make certain weapon incantations that apply buffs, seeing the colors of ash of war effects change with a buff applied to the weapon would be pretty cool :^) Not sure if that's possible or something you would want to attempt however.
Man really needs his dose of DLC.
what i really want are some protective spells like parry spell and block spell
with same timing as the better ash of war parrys

The sheer attention to detail in acknowledgomg that because greyll wasnt an ancient dragon and therefore shouldnt utilise red lighting is worthy of respect

I really like Order's Rain of Armaments but i think it would be great if you could also make it rain around you (kinda like Morgot during his second phase).
You could just use the incantation to make it rain around you (it would serve as a defensive tool by also making it last longer giving you enough time to heal for exemple) or you could do a second input to make it rain in front of you like in the video .
I’d love to see death monarch as a miquella themed incantation, which was the weapon skill of the cut abundance and decay twinblade. Its supposed to send forth butterflies to steal health. But we might just get it officially in 5 weeks or resources to build it and many more intressting spells, like use the butterfly incantation, which seems to share the projectile type of wing of Astel and bastard stars, and make Miquella themed stuff using it.
Although this mod looks insanely cool, we all know Rustys true intentions behind it; giving yourself another 100 incantations to rank

You should put spells in that didnt become spells in the dlc. Like that spell that bounced around in the catacombs, or the spell that summoned a giant skeleton arm that tibia summons.
I'm the type of person to add something like this to the game and then continue to throw boulders at everything anyways.
An issue I've always had with spell builds is that most of the time I feel like I am fighting the controls instead of the enemy. No quick bar for spells and the way you are supposed to switch through them is just annoying. At best you can align your spells to form a combo one after another, but this is still inconvenient because you will not always be able to land the combo and you may need to make a split decision of using one spell over another. Especially now with the DLC and all bosses being extremely aggressive... while you are switching through your spells you may just get shit on.
One change I would personally make is to make all item quick slots (the ones accessible by holding L1 or whatever button you have bound for it) be able to equip spells. This would give me 3-4 slots that I can assign for quick access to spells of my choosing, without having to cycle through spells in the spell slot.
If there is a spell mod out there that does this, or introduces some easier way to keybind spells, I would definitely play it.
Cant wait to see the Night Maiden themed ones. They were done dirty in opinion.
It is really criminal we never got access to Morgot's sword rain or Radagon's javalin. The versions here are great.

nice theming with the golden runic sword, I like that it stays consistent with golden order weaponry like the erdsteel dagger and erdtree spear that have two-hit r2s

I think that a dragon incantation that uses the claw would be cool as well. Maybe a lightning attack?
I think it would be cool to have a death sorcery where you summon 2-3 souls of the dead and they will singe the enemy with the flames of the underworld for like 5 seconds, dealing a certain amount of damage per second.
If I'm going further, 10-15 seconds, but you can't roll or jump while they're present because "you" have to keep concentrating to keep them summoned. Is this a crazy idea?
this + 101 sorceries & A.S.S. (whenever that's in a usable enough state- assuming it isn't shelved) is probably going to singlehandedly revive my interest in Elden Ring
though, i do raise a curious question, if and when this releases, would the two (or god forbid the three if the third mod ever makes a resurgence) be compatible with one another? Probably silly to ask- but I'm not super well versed into how the modding process for Elden Ring works, so, ask I shall
either way, massively impressive on all fronts, ty for giving the (mostly) faith-based casters some love!
If or when Rusty collabs with the Convergence team, then we'd truly get Elden Ring 2

Parry on talisman, maybe a summoned greatshield
When the DLC drops, working the power of god and anime into the martial arts weapon type
Rank them from allowing it to take your daughter to prom to scaring it off of the public sidewalk in front of your house
is it possible to have this and the sorcery one able to implement the mod into a bunch of different overhauls, i know you're working on Convergence but it would be cool to have these implemented into some that don't have as much spells, like Reborn or Reforged

I would be surprised if spell in the actual dlc were half as useful or powerful. From Software spells have always felt more to me like they are saying “spells are secondary we want melee combat to be the priority”.
Im seriously debating on getting ER and SOTE again for PC just so i can use mods for it. So many awesome builds id love to try from seeing this.
I don't tend to summon anyhow, so the always offline part doesn't really bother me.
