Important question, I'm a beginner, just started playing a week ago. How do I play the F chord (133211) if I only have four fingers to touch the strings? It doesn't sound good because my index finger touches the two thinnest strings but not well enough to make it sound good.

Try playing a half f bar chord. Hold your first finger on the first and second string first fret. And the rest is the same as the normal. (This is easier because u don't have to hold your first finger on all the strings but just 2) And it sounds very simmiler!

i think the f chord is pretty hard...
i have short fingers :( but i keep trying!
+Milou van den Doren Maybe try using the regular F chord rather than this barred F chord! Transition-wise this is a little easier, but my fingers aren't really used to the pressure you have to use to bar a chord, so it's kind of tough. Maybe the other way will work better for you! F is just kind of a harder chord in general xD I'll put it below in case you don't know it.
F chord:

Practice is the key... and once u know the barrs then u will enjoy more playing with the bars than the open ones
There's an alternate F chord thats like the C but the 2nd and 3rd fingers are moved down a string so they're on the 3rd and 4th string
