I grew up riding 2strokes. I had a couple 125’s & a 250. It amazes me at how fast & strong the 125’s of today are. I’m a woods guy so just from what I’ve heard, a 200 2stroke is plenty in the woods & a lot easier to ride because it’s not ripping your arms off. The 350 is my 4stroke bike of choice for the track or woods. I loved my KTM 350EXC so I know that 350SXF has to be a blast to ride!

You seemed like you got the most potential out of the 250 4-stroke. the 125 struggled on a couple of the tabletops (I think the 2nd tabletop was more your fault though, you didn't get a good entry/exit on the prior corner) whereas the 250f just shredded everything you threw at it. Absolutely incredible to see how far 4-strokes have come in the last 25 years.

I’ll be the one to say it, you can really tell how much faster you are on those 4 strokes. I believe the power is more manageable and smooth. I feel it helps put more time into consistency and flow instead of fighting harder to keep it in that top end range because of how much harder you have to work to maintain the same consistency on the 2 strokes. I love 2 strokes but there’s a reason why a 4 strokes are built the way they are. Sick videos keep it up.
@@newera77 exactly… 250 2 strokes should not be compared to a 250 4 stroke. 125 2 strokes are compared to 250 4 strokes and 250 2 strokes compare to 450 4 strokes.
@@brokenboyfilms48 I don't see why. The power a 250 4 stroke can generate is going to be far higher than any 125 2t. Same for a 250 2t vs a 450 4t. At the lower displacements like 125 and 250 a 2t will beat an equal displacement 4t. Once you get to 350/450 the broader power band and better traction of the 4t starts to out pace the weight and hp of the 2t. A 450 will beat a 500 2t so it really isn't just about displacement on these bikes that determines the best lap times.

I reckon I could keep up with you for 2-3 corners
250sx, 300sx and the 450 had major pulling power! even more so when a skilled rider is letting them eat..
Man you looked like you were flying on that 300sx.
Was just thinking this track looked a lot like Red Bud, but then I was like oh sh that is Red Bud lol
This made it obvious to me how powerful the 450 is. Never even had to rev it.
