Greg, with so many videos of new ponds this year that haven't really filled in with plantings, you could probably fill most of next year just revisiting ponds that have filled in! I know for me personally I see all these awesome "new pond" videos and wonder what they will look like in a year or two.
The first pond is gorgeous but borders the bland side. I think it's because all the boulders, stone, and landscape rocks are too similar in color. He mentioned the pond was recently landscaped however, it looks like they barely got started IMO. I'm seeing all aquatics and nothing along the pond edges or surrounding area, maybe the customer's request? Unfortunately, it left more to be desired. Being in the desert you'd think they'd want to add more color and SHADE! Aside from my nit-picking, nice work.
Oh man! I was hoping this was a decorated Halloween pond by the title. We installed a small pond and waterfalls here with a water curtain feature above the main pond that rains water down into the pond (when we turn it on) and big leafy tropicals like mojito colocasia and elephant ears, cannas, and cold hardy banana trees around it (mind you, this is in the Midwest where winter happens). We also do what they call a home haunt-which is growing in popularity, last year we gave out two hundred treat baggies of candy/toys plus a CapriSun drink to take home to each kid, five gallons of chili soup in individual cups with plastic spoons, five huge bulk size containers of hot chocolate made up for self serve in dispensers, and two and half gallons of adult only fireball whiskey spiked apple cider with maraschino cherries. We saw people had drove in from an hour away to attend, by license plates. We decorate extensively for Halloween and have the public come through, even into the house which is also decorated. The outside has ghost projections, mausoleum, graveyar, a bunch of animatronics, a giant black widow spider with a victim, a headless horseman, big smoke breathing dragon, etc. Now I have a lush tropical pond area that I’m trying to figure out how the heck to work that into our yard display for spooky season. All I can come up with is either horror tiki designs or maybe swamp thing decor. It would have been nice to see this couples decorated Halloween pond for people like me who need the ideas. There are huge groups of people who do this on Facebook, so they are definitely out there!
I would like to say that I'm a huge fan of you all and seeing a lot of the projects that are done is amazing. I was wondering if you guys can have a series of pond building for those of us with large expensive pond builds out of the budget? I think that would be a great channel for us all.
I love that front court yard pond. Talk about inviting.
Seems a lot of us AZ folk love our Halloween.
I love it so beautiful and relaxing

Greg, have you heard of The Urban Rescue Ranch? I would love to see a collab and see what you could make on the ranch for the animals 😊

The pond at the Halloween Lady's house is enchanting
Fabulous!
Nice job!
Amazing
Halloween was my brother's favorite holiday. He had a huge shed in his back yard full of nothing but Halloween decorations.
I’m happy to know that some of the money I spent on Clive’s books has been well spent!

Was thinking the same thing. Not my favorite
I’m sure the plantings will grow in over the coming seasons. By next year we probably won’t recognize it.
Get yourself a maremmano, it will keep all the coyotes and raccoons away. Especially if you have million dollar horses.
So amazing what an ecosystem water feature can do to the arid environment there! Absolutely beautiful!
$50,000 my ass I could have done it for $12,000 literally could have done it for less than 12,000 it's so small
How would you spend the extra 38,000 we made over what you would do it for? 😉
Talk is cheap, good water features cost money. When you become a certified Aquascape contractor, I’ll remember to give you a call, bucko!
