  • Threshing of old varieties of wheat using steam engine to power machinery.
Apologies for poor quality of video. Ground footage is filmed with a mobile phone. Air footage much better and filmed with a Parrot Anafi drone..

It was hard work threshing in those days it was a dusty job in them days and the corn went to 16 stone railway sacks which were heavy ❤

Great film. Lovely to see farmer Paul as always. I made a film with him a good while ago, I'm keen to get in touch with him and see if we could do a follow up.. do you know how I could get in touch? Maybe someone reading this does?!

Hi Matt, I'll let Paul know you are trying to get in touch with him. I expect he's still got your number.
We were threshing yesterday as it happens and tonight Graham the thatcher is giving a talk at the local history club. I remember your film and am actually in it at the very start where Paul and I are squaring up after my juggling convention which we have on the farm every Year.
