    Oh, this is beautiful... I'm so excited to see such lovely fan dancing--it may be considered out-of-style to the cultures who have been practicing it for centuries, but a new crowd is getting in on the fluttering fans and we love it. A question for you, though; do the Chinese ever dance with two fans, or always just one?

    yup, there are double fans. I like single fan more, and usually the pros prefer it too.

    I believe the turn is just a spot rotation. There might be a specific name for what she's doing though. I can ask and tell you later.

    unfortunately, this video wasn't "us" (I won't ever be in such a dance, heh); it's from a dance competition in China--professional quality that is. However, my affiliated dance group is planning to learn this dance next; that's why I uploaded it. It's hard to duplicate some effects in there; I hope they can be half as good. thanks though..
