I don't get the meaning of this beyond being a catchy rock tune, and seems totaly disconnected from any spiritual symbolism. Before shallow minded secularists complain, I can only say that if I can't expect a symbol of religion to mean any thing to you, then how can your opinion mean anything to those with conviction? If this symbolizes something evil and anti Christian, then I have to take it seriously and oppose it in every lawful way. If it is not anti Christian, then its meaning is not at all clear to me at this time. If someone has a talent for music but not titles, perhaps a simple "Rock Ballad #23" or some such would be more intellectualy honest then arbitrarily throwing out something disturbing just because it "sounds cool".

The album is a "concept" piece that is focused on the trials and tribulations suffered by Women. In my opinion, after talking to Alan, it IS "more intellectually honest than arbitrarily throwing out something disturbing"... In many ways women have been, according to most major religions, (Judea/Christian/Muslim) at one point or another, both Worshiped and Damned. Thus Lucifer, as the Father of Lies, is completely appropriate for a concept album dealing with history's duality towards Women.
